That U2 Bruce Springsteen collaboration was brutal.

I kinda enjoyed it.

 

Bono always had the better voice between the two, but it was fun.

 

Bruce is 65....there's a bit of tread ware--Mrs. Blair Kiel pointed out a little gut.

Considering that U2 are brutal and Springsteen is beyond brutal, what would you expect when putting them together?

Listen hear, whipper snapper...

 

I like Bruce, and I like U2...don't think their styles lend much to one another, though. Together, it just doesn't work for me.

Bruce is fine. But you U2 is unbelievably awful. They need to leave everyone alone. 

We get it. You don't like U2.

they're, like, SO bad. 

Some people would rather listen to Fleetwood Mac.

Bruce peaked at Born To Run. Everything after that just sounds the same.

Hopefully, none of that horrendous "music" they forced onto my iPad. Yikes! Hard to believe it was performed by the same band that gave us Joshua Tree.

Both Joshua Tree tracks, if I'm not mistaken. Bruce probably refused to do anything later than that.

I looked up and there's a horribly boring game on!

 

Watching these QB's makes me appreciate Rodgers all the more.

You didn't get that appreciation from the parade of suck that MM put out at QB last year when Rodgers was injured?

They were back-ups....

 

...pretty deflating (especially J-E-T-S) if that's what you have to watch 16 Sundays.

This game looks like a different sport compared to NE-GB game. 

I should turn this game off and go to bed, but I feel compelled to watch, feeling that something awful is likely to happen anytime Geno Smith drops back to pass.

This game is a slow motion car crash between two terrible drivers in electric smart cars. Impossible to stop watching. 

More total offense in the Packer-Falcon promo clip than in this entire game so far.

3rd and 9 on their 4. At no point did anyone on the Jet sideline consider letting Geno put the ball in the air. 

TD Fish.  All tied up. I foresee overtime.

Thank god there is no double overtime in the regular season.

Geno has 42 yards passing. I never would have guessed more than 20. 

Bruce is no dummy. If only he could sing.

This is genuinely comical.  I broke in to laghter after each of the Jets last two plays, sack and missed FG.

I'm gonna grab a beer and commit to seeing this one thru.

12 year old holding a beer in his popcorn. At 11pm in NY. Fitting. 

This game almost has to end in a tie. 

I doubt if he'll drink the whole thing.  More likely just have a couple of sips, then peg the can at the referee at the end of the game.

Geno Smith is a terrible QB

That kid is not an NFL qb.

Geno isn't that good of a QB but he's also not in a system conducive for his success. Coming out of WVU his biggest knock was his extremely poor footwork. So for him to be put in a west coast style offense like the one Mornhinweg runs, which requires excellent footwork, is asking a bit too much.

 

still, i doubt he'd be NFL caliber in any system otherwise. 

I'm just glad to see Philben having some success. His guys are playing hard for him.

There were so many empty seats for a National Flunkie League game, that the scalpers were actually paying people to appear at the landfill.

Even so, last  night's game was more exciting than 99% of baseball games.
