Should this be in a Najeh Davenport thread?
@Boris posted:This is just the fifth time in NFL history that two teams have combined for eight rushing touchdowns in one game. There has never been a game with nine rushing touchdowns.

Happened twice in 1922 - oh how quickly people forget the Rock Island and Racine teams.

I humbly try to do my part at X4...the pay is minimal, but Fedyaβs adoration makes it worthwhile.
Damn kids don't know their history!
@Boris posted:FYI - Lamar supposedly had to take a crap (or not) -- that's why he was in the locker room.
Judging by the way he was "walking" to the locker room due to "cramps", I'm guessing it was stomach cramps. And I'd bet some good coin that he shit himself.

β Michael David Smith (@MichaelDavSmith) December 15, 2020I'm guessing Derrick Henry will rush for 9 TD's vs. the Packers in a couple weeks
Adrian Peterson holds the record for most rush yards in a single game - 296 yards against the Chargers in 2007. I hope we can hold Henry to less than that.

You're still living off that "just go away" comment.
And still have never paid for a drink here because of it.
@PackerHawk posted:I had no plans to watch this game but turned it on with the Browns down 14 and driving so I gave it a look. Glad I tuned in, watched it till the end. Great game although I was pulling for the New Browns over the Old Browns.
I was rooting for the new Browns too, but that was one of the few games where both teams rose to the occasion instead of one or the other flaming out. It happens less and less these days because there are too many teams and too many games and rosters are chock full of Darrius Shepards and Josh Jacksons. That game had all the feel of a playoff game and most likely will be better than half the playoff games we end up watching. Reminded me of a number of Packer games where they were young and played their ass off only to come up just a bit short.
Sounds like it may have been a playoff game. An elimination game, if you will.
Someone told Lamar to go for 2 and he ran with it.
Lamar would fit right in on one of our first quarter game threads.
Rock Island had a great line
I think Mayfield is maturing and becoming less of a punk.
Makes it easier to root for the Browns when possible.
Being the geezer that I am, I mostly slept through the game, but did manage to catch the last 10 mins or so, and was glad I did; there was lots of high drama and excitement.
I was able to catch the last 6 minutes on the replay on NFL Network last night. Still managed to fall asleep with 10 seconds left. Did BALT get the FG to win? π
