Strange. I was going through the roster on Wikipedia and saw his name. Followed it up and it's true.

Great, more depth and making history if he plays with 2 different teams in same playoff season!
Nice loophole.
Deft move by the Packers...👍
called it !! ha ha. nice move, he played pretty good for the colts, great pickup.
Ruettgers would have loved that arrangement.
First Snacks and Dafney now this. Like the aggressive moves

You're old if you know what that means.
Is there anyone on this board who doesn't?
(isn't?)

I measure age in decades. I'm barely 6.
Yikes......I'm 9
My grandma will be 10 decades in April.

Not a bad idea...
If he's interested in playing next season, Veldheer would be a nice stopgap at left tackle until 69 is ready to return.

Good move by Gutey and certainly a better option at tackle than Jason Spriggs.
Isn't 69 always ready to return?

You've hit on something that pleases me with the new regime. TT's Offensive line depth was bad. Since Gute took over, we've improved that area. And guys like Runyon and that Stepniak guy who before his injury was a beast have me optimistic for the future, as well as the adequate coaching that has seemed to make the various parts interchangeable without missing a beat.
Good story on what this means going forward.

Veldeer won't play on Saturday.
Hope he hasn’t corrupted or close contacted any other parts of the offense.
Andy Herman just tweeted that the Packers cleared contract tracing with no issues which means "nobody will miss due to being in contact with him. The only way anyone else will miss time is if they actually test positive."
Could be a false positive -- they should still be fine but having that depth on the O-Line would've been a nice luxury.
If he tests negative he could be back for the game after if they beat the Rams.
