This time a former Pro Bowler appears to be throwing his life away. There’s no excuse to drive drunk in this day and age, especially with Uber and Lyft widely available. However, not everyone seems to have gotten the memo.

According to TMZ, Jay Cutler, a former Pro Bowl quarterback and the ex-husband of Kristin Cavallari was arrested in Franklin, Tennesee was arrested for driving under the influence, and it doesn’t stop there.

“The former NFL star and ex-husband of Kristin Cavallari was arrested for DUI and 3 other offenses Thursday evening in the city of Franklin, TN,” TMZ shared.

“The other crimes were failure to exercise due care, violation of implied consent law, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.”

“Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail, where he posed for a scruffy mug shot — and, as you can see, the dude doesn’t look too happy. Jay posted a $5,000 bond and was released later that night, according to a rep for the Franklin Police Department.”

"Don't drink and drive" is a message that just doesn't get through to people.
No matter the consequences criminally and civilly, DUI is a daily occurrence from coast to coast.

This has to be a record.   And not only a Sconnie.

A Rice Lake man is charged with his 17th operating while intoxicated.

Mark Alan Johnson, 71, is charged with OWI 17th offense, operating while revoked, and failing to install an ignition interlock system.

Officers noted Johnson was having trouble standing, his eyes were bloodshot, and his body was swaying as he spoke. A preliminary blood test showed an alcohol concentration of .147.

Prior records show Johnson has 16 other OWI charges, dating back to 1990. Many are in the state of Minnesota.

Johnson's driving privileges were previously revoked for life. That doesn't ban him from owning vehicles but he was ordered to install an ignition interlock device in any vehicle he did own.
