Get new tires before the old tread is bare. TT is two or three years ahead of us. He has to be for the Packers to be successful with our market. And, it's working.
Whatever they do, DON'T OVERPAY. And I'm confident TT wouldn't overpay. There's only two players on the team that they need to sign at "all costs". One is on offense and the other on D.
If Thompson overpays then he risks losing out on the fat bonus he gets by staying under the cap. Tightwad Ted won't overpay for anyone...except AJ Hawk.
I was a bit more concerned about losing Greg prior to the emergence of Cobb. TT will probably handle it just like he did with Wells- he's got a price in mind and if someone wants to pay more so be it.

Of the 4 LB'ers who started the season, right now it looks like Hawk will be the only one playing next Sunday.
