Something on the lighter sideβ¦do you have and wear a Packer jersey on game day ?
If so, name/number? And, how many Packer jerseys do you have? And, if not a jersey, do you have a go to shirt?

I'm waiting to get Blair Keil's thoughts....
Home games jerseys: Jerry Kramer, Aaron Rodgers or Reggie White. Away games: Ray Nitschke. I inherited two of my wife's jerseys, Eugene Robinson and Ahman Green. She loved Eugene, a lot. Even after he went to Atlanta.
Only jersey I have is a Starr (I'm named after him). Don't wear it on game days.
I have a few autograph photos.
Bart Starr, Tony Canadeo (a friend of my grandfather growing up in Chicago), and Paul Hornung. I have a Favre but don't display that anymore.
I have an autographed 1954 Braves baseball.
For the Bucks, Giannis and Kareem.
Jersey, #25 Dorse the Horse. Autographs, 3 Jerry Kramer books, a Bart Starr postcard with his pic on it, Willie Wood on a small plastic football, a few others .

One jersey. Family name and #1 on the front/back.
And, if not a jersey, do you have a go to shirt?
I have t-shirts and caps out the wazoo, mostly gifts from my kids.
I have a (real) #7 road jersey, no name on back. Got it 1989 and rarely miss wearing it on game day.
I worked for a company that had a sales contest one year; you would earn points for certain sales which you could redeem for merchandise in a catalog.
Instead of choosing something sensible like a new TV or stereo system, I chose that jersey, a real Riddell helmet, and a silkscreened letterman-type jacket. I've worn out (and outgrown) the jacket, still have the helmet (the logo is yellowing), and remarkably, the jersey has survived 32-33 years. And counting.
Much like bvan, I have a lot of t-shirts, hats, and might even have a cheap replica Favre jersey in the closet (never worn). Not normally worn on game days, except as an undershirt beneath the jersey.
NO. BK said i shouldn't.

not sure if it was his original idea or not, but someone in my fantasy football league team's name was My Nut Zach Ertz
I also have a #7 jersey with no name on the back along with about 10 others.
My prize jersey, which I don't wear, is #5. With Paul Hornungs name Autographed on the back along with HOF and date he got in. Home and away jerseys of #12, away one #52 Matthews ,Home ones of #92 White ,30 Green, #4 Favre (2 of them, I about wore one out) and various others I can't think of right now. I would love to get a #9 one now before he gets famous!!
I wear one every game and my luckiest Packer ball cap, frontwards on offense - backwards on defense. Sometimes I wear my cheese-head when I have company. Wear it backwards to try and block field goals. I have about a 100 pair of packer socks my customers at my coffee shop would bring me all the time. Mostly the girls that worked in a sock shop in town. Eat Pizza on game days. Drink Beer.
I have been BLESSED !!
I'm a fat ass so for me jerseys are way more comfortable than t-shirts.

#85 looks like a lot of NFL DL.
If N.F.L lineman were all 56-years-old.
Are you not older than 56?
UPDATE :::::
Well I counted them all and I have 14 jerseys. Damn ! I didn't think I had that many, I ALSO have these, #27 Lacy,2 each #30 Green ( bought the second one when he broke the all-time Packer rushing record) , #4 away jersey, #12 throw back,
# 50 A J Hawk , and last but not least my favorite all time Packer #66 Nitschke its pretty wore out now but looks like he played in it I tell myself.
Now for the wife, she has three jerseys , # 87 Nelson and two #4 pink Favre jerseys.
I asked my wife when I passed one day I wanted my two children, their husband and wife, My 5 grandkids and 3 step-grandkids to wear a jersey at my funeral. OH yea my dog has Packer Jacket for the winter.
Jersey's are a jinx. Got an Aj Hawk jersey when he was drafted. Figured he be around a while. I was right but he stunk. Got a Lacy Jersey his 2nd year. Well that turned out well. Got Rusty a Bacteria road jersey for Christmas. He blows the knee out. Wore my Hawk jersey on Sunday last season. No. 50 Mercilus gets hurt!
Can you please buy an Amari Rodgers jersey?
Jersey questionsβ¦ Some people feel that jerseys shouldnβt be worn when you reach a certain age. Agree or disagree? And, if agree, what age?
Are there any past Packer player jerseys you would buy but theyβre not available? For example, I was looking for a Brockington 42 jersey but not available at Packer Pro Shop, etc. I thought about maybe one that will do a custom name on the back but wasnβt sure of the quality, etc. Anyone have one?
I wouldn't mind a Brockington jersey. Or a Skoronski one. loved the way Ray Scott said his name!
I have never owned a jersey... perhaps because when growing up the only jersey available for you to wear was your own....and that was only on game day. When adults first started wearing them I thought it was ridiculous, but as I've "matured", my tolerance for tastes other than my own has increased.
@Packy
1) Agree
2) 12
Why 12? Because when youβre 12, you can dream about playing in the N.F.L. When youβre 46β¦it ainβt happening.
Wear? No. I have my son's Robert Brooks, a Craig Newsome and a Favre. The first two were right before each blew out their knee so you might think it's superstition, but Favre turned me off of buying jerseys.
I have Max McGeeβs AND his away jersey, #12.
Stuff left after a one night stand does not count as owning. π
Of course I wear a jersey. Between that and my stock certificate that qualifies me as player-owner... now once I figure out how to add coach to my titles I can finally fix this shit and get us another Owl.
1. Ahman Green
2. Brett Favre
3. Clay Matthews
4. Greg Jennings
* All authentic
Ok, do you all who wear Packer jerseys or other shirts on game day, do you wear the same shirt when they lose or do you change the shirt?? I never wear the same shirt if they lose, and I think this year Iβm gonna have to buy a lot more shirts. π
Goldie, you gotta change until you find the luck. AND, Goldie, we need a pic of the flags you fly.

You could always go topless.

I don't read that much into it. To me, it's no different than wearing a hat, t-shirt, or other team-related wear. Age has no factor; a 70 year old can be every bit the fan a 20-something can be. Likely a bigger fan, and hopefully more knowledgeable.

The only way I would have a past player jersey is if:
1. The uniform design is the same as when they played.
2. There is no manufacturer's logo.
3. The is no NFL shield where the collar 'meets' at the chest.
Just my preferences.
I would consider a framed, collectible jersey of someone like Starr, Nitschke, or Kramer if the right deal could be reached, but I would likely have to sell other collectibles to do that.

Well this is the way I do it. If they win I don't wash it and wear it again next game. If they lose I wash it and pick another jersey to wear the next game!
