I mean, Jordan Poole seems like a bit of a front runner but holy crap. That backpack comment is comical. What Iโd like to know is what was said leading up to it because you know damn well D Green canโt hold back and keep his mouth shut.
It's pretty well known he was pushing (verbally aka coaching) Poole up because the kid has talent but something tells me Poole thinks he's wayyyy better than he actually is. His defense sucks and when his offense falters he's nothing but a liability on the floor. Which explains why they traded him.
True story: I picked up Les Quinones (G-League) and gave him a ride to Santa Cruz for practice. The house I picked him up from?? Jordan Poole's.
Poole probably sold it now since he's on the other side of the country.
What, you an Uber now?
๐ Yeah just Uber, only Uber ๐
Personal, Private, professional driver at your service sir.
Heading to Rome next weekend, do you work there?
I had to think Golden State handled this as the lesser of two evils. Green is hard to handle but no way GS wins those titles without him. You take the good with the bad.
Jordan Poole strikes me as a guy my boss would say has โunearned confidence.โ
Green is a modern day version of Dennis Rodman and every team would love to have him on their squad but you know damn well heโs leaving some dead bodies in his wake.
Since Draymond is in this thread.....good spot to plant this

Indefinitely....Will we see him again this season?
I think indefinitely is a ridiculous suspension. But it's clear his past transgressions are in play here. The biggest question I have is how far are they going back?
I mean if Giannis gets ejected are they going to look at him mean mugging when he got ejected the first time this season? And make that indefinitely. Where do you draw the line?
Draymond with the spinning back Fist to Jurkic was definitely ridiculous and uncalled for but I don't think it should be an indefinite suspension. I think the NBA suspended him indefinitely because they're just sick of dealing with him.
I was thinking it would be about 10 games. But indefinite would be a weird way to start a 10 game suspension.

They donโt want to have to deal with a Rudy T situation. Not that they really care about anyoneโs face they really only care about bad pub.
The issue with Draymond is this isnโt a one time occurrence. Itโs multiple events just this year.
The league isnโt going to put up with this for much longer IMO. They were more willing to tolerate it when Golden State was winning but now that his team is declining itโs a different deal.

If Green did most of that stuff in a tavern instead of on a bb court he would be in jail.
