He was also on ESPN with Dan Patrick and said if he knew what he does now in terms of how fast his recovery went, he thinks he could have played in the SB. Obviously the IR designation nixed that but just imagine if he was IR-DTR and the packers made it and debuted in the SB 6 mos recovered.

Dan is no longer with "the Mothership".

It will be interesting to see how well Nelson does on his return.  My guess is that he still must have some mental doubts...especially since it was a non-contact tear... until he tests it in some scrimmages and pre-season games.

Hate that when people try to jump on the gravy train that is public school teaching....

This is the biggest BS I've ever read on X4.  It is so hard to get substitute teachers here in Wisconsin.  Not to turn this political but after what our governor did to public unions so many teachers have left the profession.  You think it's such a gravy train then come to Wisconsin and teach.. No scratch that, I wouldn't want anyone of your opinions teaching my kids, my neighbors kids, even my grand children.  I think it is great the Jordy wants to help mold  young people. Get off your high horse Ya Ya.

I'm sorry I was joking. Being sarcastic. I'm a teacher. We don't get into it for the money. I love teaching, been doing it 20 years, but pay is lousy everywhere. Sorry for not making that clear.

BTW, the real Y.A. Tittle was paid so little when he was an all-Pro QB that he worked as a substitute history teacher in the off season.

I thought he was joking when I first read it. YaYa has posted about being a teacher in the past, so a little self-deprecation made sense in the context of Jordy's story.
