That's awesome. I saw somewhere that he also got one vote for All-Pro as well. Starting to get the recognition he deserves so he can eventually make the Pro Bowl years after he deserves it.
We have a good, fairly young group with Sitton, Wells, and Bulaga. Who will be the future with the other guard and tackle spots? Lang appears to be poised for one of those positions
I think Newhouse will be a starting T on this team sooner than later. Perhaps even LT.
Suh says he's the best player he faces. Good to see him finally receiving the recognition he deserves.

I would most certainly leave Wells out of the "good, young" group. Go back and rewatch games, he is a liability. The other two are looking good.

McGinn seems to think this is a strong possibility.
Wells is not a liability. He's a pretty decent center even though he isn't pro-bowl material.
Go back and re-watch the games and take a look at who makes all the line calls then blocks pretty well. I've seen Wells struggle at times but he has never been a liability.
A liability would be Adrian Klemm or Daryn Colledge out at LT.

i think he won it because of what he had running behind him the majority of the year.
Good for him. Bad for TT. The price of his next contract or extension just went up considerably. That's never something to be happy about.
Wells is a player you can win with but he's not a difference maker. If a guy like Pouncey fell to the Packers in the draft, you take him to replace Wells. But you aren't activley seeking out a replacemement for him.
He reminds me a lot of Hawk. A lot of his value comes before the ball is snapped but once the play starts, he's just a good player, not great.

TT is not afraid to pay players. I just worry that TT won't pay a guard. I'm thinking he will do what he did with Williams, Collins and Jennings: give him a 4 year deal so he can get another big pay day before he hangs it up.
