If a basbeall manager can be thrown out of a game by an umpire, why in the world can football coaches do just about anything and not even get a flag?

Throw the bum out! Harbaugh's behavior was ridiculous no matter how bad the refs were.

He ran out on the field, berated the officials, threw a hissy fit, looked like a total jack as# and nothing is called.

I really think the NFL should look at officials having the option to warn a coach and then throw them out.

Lions and 49ers next week, look out officials, you may need a bodyguard.

If there was any HC I thought would be "playing an angle" (cheating), I think it could be Harbaugh. He just strikes me as a guy who will do anything or say anything, so he can win.

Now...am I saying he is cheating for his team to win? No. But watching his behaviour, hearing his comments and seeing how he took a poor team to a 13-3 record literally overnight last year, just makes me wonder if there is a little extra something going on.

The 49ers should have been in the playoffs 3-4 years ago. Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary (especially the latter) were just both very bad head coaches.

Harbaugh is a prick, but he's a really good coach.

Yep. He's one of the best coaches on the planet. Had his guys play with an intensity and focus the Pack failed to match.

This. I suspect but I would have a hard time hanging around this guy and he seems like a guy who should have been beat up several times in his life only to be saved by his big bro and teammates but he's a great coach.

It seems that way. He's ultracompetitive on the field and in the locker room, that's for sure.

I have heard good things about Harbaugh off the field though, he's apparently got a good side to him away from football.
