Whoops, simple typo, it pays to proofread. Anyway, I'm on 600mbit (and only like 20mbit up). Not a bandwidth issue. I suspect that every time you seek for some reason it goes through some full handshake process that is more or less considered a full restart of the stream at that position.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put a little more engineering into their console and android/iOS apps. But I haven't tried any of those so I don't have a point of comparison. It's not a hard technical problem to solve, as evidenced by basically every other video platform performing orders of magnitude better.

Are you using the built-in app on the TV? If so, that may be your issue.

Unless you have a brand new TV, probably not enough memory/processing power.

My TV's are from 2013 & 2017. Ancient and I never use those built-in apps at all.
