The next 4 weeks are going to be different. They're going to look different. Who knows where GB is going to stand on Thanksgiving. Personally, I think GB is going 3-1 over the next 4 games because they have 52 guys that want to prove it's not a 1 man operation around here and while they love their leader, it's on them to carry on.

But the reason for this post is the big picture beyond 2013. This is now a team built to continue to contend for championships for years to come. The pieces Ted has put in play over the past few years are going to pay off. Injuries have crippled this team but every year going forward they're going to hurt less. The 2013 draft was a game changer for Green Bay.

In 2014 the OL backups are going to include Sherrod, Barclay, and Tretter. Bakhtiari will be a tested vet in his second year. Hyde looks like a young football savant. Worthy and Datone Jones will be second year guys looking to follow Daniels third year lead. And then there's Eddy Lacy. Currently 8th in the NFL in rushing even though he essentially missed a game after 1 carry for 10 yards. He's 4th in the NFL AVERAGING 85 yards per game. Perry looks like he's found his groove coming off the same side as he did at USC. He's a different guy when they line him up there and looks like an automatic 10 plus sack guy there. And let's not forget Clay possibly made his biggest play as a Packer coming off the spot Perry's been playing when he told Pickett to spill it and stuck Mendenhall in the backfield and forced a game changing fumble in Dallas.

I'm not remotely close to giving up on 2013 because AR is hurt. Way too much football left and I think this team is going to respond like its 2010. I'm just all kinds of fired up how crazy good this team is going to be for the years to come.

Proud as possible to be a Green Bay Packer fan.

I'm sorry but I'm no fan of the term Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid is for Minnesota, Atlanta, KC, and Detroit. Places where fans want to embrace their team but hesitate because they're sick of being let down. Hoping they somehow manage to bottle lighting.

If Green Bay hasn't earned your trust, respect, hope, and belief that things are going to work out after winning at a .700 clip and a Super Bowl since 2009 with more injuries than any team should ever be expected to overcome then in the words of Fortune in Rudy, "If you haven't done that by now, it ain't gonna' never happen".

I also beleive that these next four games will cement Mc Carthy's coaching legcy. And Dom Capers has come to the cross roads of his coaching career. So much importance is being place on his defence. This is one time where Failure is realy not an option.

Uncle Ted will be looking for the WR to compliment A-Rod along with the Tampa 2 busting TE next year.  Imagine A-Rod with the following; running game, a Mega tron type WR that will always get separation, and a Tampa 2 busting TE with Velcro hands.

We're lost without Aaron Rodgers ?

I don't think so

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor ?

I don't think so

The Mighty Green Bay Packers will give a collective finger to the non-believers on Sunday at Lambeau Field

Thanks Chilli !

Onward

If the Packers can somehow get healthy at the end of the year and go on a run I don't think most teams in the NFC will want to play them come January.   They just have to weather the storm the next 4-5 weeks.

10 wins will get them into the playoffs and that's the goal right now.

I just wanna see win number 6 and hope it happens this Sunday. Then whenever win 6 occurs, I'll be looking for win 7, then 8 after that and so on and so on. Cant look too far down the road anytime, and especially now under the present circumstances.

Each week is a new adventure. And regardless of the situation I'll be rooting hard for and pulling for a Pack win each week until their season is over.

Seriously, what faith I have is based off the memory of how much Matt Flynn sucked during the Lions game and then had an outstanding game the following week.  Perhaps we could see that tomorrow, but the the D has to show up!!!    Until I see that, I will maintain calm and not expect too much.  Doesn't mean I do not think the Packers can win the game tomorrow.  This is an extremely talented team, but they have a heck of a challenge!  And, I just ain't goin to get all that upset tomorrow if they do lose.

Man, the drop off in skill between Rodgers and Wallace and the significance of the QB position.

I am certainly open to the idea that not having trust in this specific case is no indictment of the Packer organization.

Such a huge drop in skill.

Sadly, this seems to be their mantra every season.

On the bright side, maybe Matthews' return can light a fire under some gold butts today. If our defensive backfield can carry the day and we get some sort of pass rush, we can win this game as I see Chipper really attacking us through the air.

I'm encouraged by the play of Tolzien today. He's at least better than Wallace, and with the way they are able to run the ball, there is an opportunity to take advantage of teams stacking up against the run.

But the D is discouraging. Soft in the middle of the field (again), and Williams continues to get abused. Teams always find where House is and pick on him. The pass rush is troublesome- it departs for significant stretches of tiem, and that's when things get away. Can't blame TOP today- the Packers had a decided edge.

The teams needs to get better. A lot better.

An upset MM said after the game that "there was an ongoing problem we have to fix". We know that isn't Tolzien. Any guesses?

Seems to me I remember being similarly upset at the clown show losses to Washington and Miami in 2010, then followed by the loss to Detroit in Detroit. We get healthy, we get hot, anything can happen. Beat the Giants next week, and we're back on track.

Not quite, but it would do as a start.
