At the home opener at Lambeau, Crosby kicked off and the ball hit the goalpost and bounced back into the field of play.  I joked at the time that it should be a live ball - a rule change that might actually provide some fun and excitement.  We got to discussing it in the stands, and then I saw it happen in another game.

It's not gonna happen that often but if you wanna change some rules that seems like something that could actually add to the game.

I don't care one way or the other but I can't see a downside - maybe some of you can.

Potential 4-point or 9-point play if that rule was in place.

Smart to kick the ball high & short down to like the 1 or the goal line, rush down & pin the offense deep. I thought that right away when they bring the ball out to the 25 on a touchback.

If I'm coach, my returner better be kneeling in the endzone, I don't care if you're Desmond Howard, Gale Sayers or Rick Upchurch.

I've always felt that if the kicker can kick it through the uprights on a kickoff the kicking team should get some points out of it, even it would be a single point it would be cool

yep, same here.
