Bucks down 16-12 halfway through the first. Knicks open 7 for 11 from the floor

Bucks on a 12-0 run now up 8.
Thatâs a horseshit call- Gibson was moving.
Giannis not forcing it, but they need to get him involved scoring. Heâs playing right into their hands- they clearly are only concerned with him. But when Giannis is out there passing, other people are shooting the ball, not Giannis.
Get him into the post... on the block.
Get Giannis in the paint... they have no one who can match up. Go down there, stay down there.
Knicks play like a Thibideaux team... physical, lots of pushing/shoving.
Really good first half. Giannis already with 13-7-6. Like the ball movement, the activity on the defensive end...
Offense is humming. Sharing, passing up good looks for great ones. Doing work in the paint. Defense playing well.
Giannis having a monster night . 20-9-8 now...
I havenât watched every second of this game, but boy has Connaughton missed a ton of open looks. Frustrating.
Just as I say that, Pat C finally hits one. ð
Bryn Forbes is such a liability on defense.

24-10-9. Bucks up 26. Get one more assist and let's see Diakite get some minutes.
Bryn Forbes is the king of making 3s in blowout games.
Yup... he looks great in blowouts.
But great start to the second half of the season.
Diakite with a smooth midrange jumper.
All 14 Bucks score.
This should be a predictable outcome facing a team you are clearly better against in just about every matchup.
Good to see them bring the hammer and overwhelm the Dolanâs
The Bucks defense on Randall was outstanding- 7 points on 3-12 shooting. They were trying to iso Middleton as a mismatch when the Bucks were switching, and that shot just didnât work out too well. Alex Burks hit some 3s snd a few jumpers, but that was it. The Bucks defense was suffocating. They forced 13 turnovers and really blew the game open in the third when they got out on the run.

Updating this from a past thread.
The Bucks have 17 double-digit wins this year. In those games Forbes is 49 for 88 (55.7%) from 3.

The problem with that strategy is that Middleton is a very good defender. He's not Giannis or Holiday, but you are going to have to work to score on him. Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday are as good a defensive top-3 as anyone has in the league.
Itâs great for them the handle that though... the playoffs are going to basically be p&r to get matchups and then attack the mismatch. From a defensive standpoint, the Bucks need to be sure that they can still score when Middleton is expending a lot of energy on the defensive end.
Thought Middleton finally shook loose in that 3rd quarter- his pull-up game is elite when heâs going like that. They need to have him do a lot less dribbling and initiating offense, now that Holiday is back.

At some point, they'll likely have to beat the Nets in a series to get out of the East. Middleton/Giannis will probably match up with Durant in that series, Holiday will be assigned to Harden, and DDV to Irving. Lopez can stay on the floor with D. Jordan and Griffin getting minutes.
The Nets will run P&R to try to get someone other than Giannis, Middleton, or Holiday on Durant and let him go to work. As good as Harden and Kyrie are on offense, Durant is the one that will get you in the end.
The Nets don't have any lockdown defenders on that roster, so if you even have some modest success in slowing down their offense, you have a chance.
