This will make these games much more interesting. King will probably get to run a lot, gun a lot, and lose a lot. The Huskers are 2-12 in the Big 10 this year.

Why the hell go there?? I wanted him gone from the big 10. Ugh......
So what direction were the Badgers going he didn't like? Winning?

Accountability. If you are one of the main guys, any good coach is going to be harder and expect you to lead by example more so than some backup guy coming off the bench. Maybe he just wasn't cut out to handle that.
Last I looked, Nebraska was 200+ points worse than the next most porous defense in the B1G. That's an indicator of a style. Even if you lack talent you can still play defense-if you want to.
King gives them an infusion of talent without having to supply the wanna.

Hoiberg is setting a style of play that he can recruit to. They aren't going to win much with the rag tag group they have now, but he's going to be able to get kids that want to run and gun - or kids that would never want to come to WI.
Neb is going to be like PSU or Rutgers or MN IMO. They'll get some really talented kids who think they are good enough to make the NBA, they won't play defense, rebound or pass.
They'll have a good year here or there but unless they can unlock the recruiting dollars like MSU, OSU, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas et al, they ain't going anywhere.
Probably going to need to change the title of this thread
Wonder what the personal reasons are heâs not going to Nebraska.......I had such high hopes for our local guy. Damn.
