Former #Packers fullback Korey Hall, who signed with Arizona three days ago, has retired after five NFL seasons.

Was he injured? He had a bit of a career going and was a pretty decent player.

Good night sweet prince.

Korey Hall was a high effort guy who achieved more in the NFL than his pure natural talent would dictate. He made it as far as he did by working hard and being smart and maximizing what talent he had.

A high energy guy that played LB at Boise State, beefed up a bit to play FB in the NFL. Body just said no, younger guys coming out of college each year to be the new ST ace, makes a 4-5 year career the new norm.

IIRC, he caught A-Rods first NFL TD pass in the game out of the gate post TOG era against Minn.

On Tuesday, free agent fullback Korey Hall signed with the Cardinals. After a couple of practices in Arizona, Hall decided he doesn’t want to be a professional football player anymore.

The 29-year-old Hall, who was a star linebacker at Boise State before moving to fullback in the NFL, told the Idaho Statesman that the wear and tear on his body is more than he can handle anymore.

“I reached a point in my career where my body wasn’t holding up and I couldn’t play the game the way I wanted to,” Hall said. “It was a good run full of great experiences and I have no regrets.”
