Just listened to a segment on Rich Eisen's show with Kurt Warner, who I think is one of the better offensive analysts out there, especially when discussing QB play. His feeling was that Rodgers did not trust the Packers offense anymore, nor the receivers and is trying too hard to overcome that and make plays, thus holding the ball way too long instead of just letting it rip. Warner said that the Packers offense is stagnant....little to no motion pre-snap.

Warner probably wants to be on Rodgers.
Warner on AR on the NFL Network
His analysis makes a lot of sense.
Warner put into words what I was sensing, and, given his own mid-career swoon in NY before resurrecting his career in Arizona, I give his explanation a lot of credence.
Probably been posted before, but Woodson said similar thing after MNF this week after discussing his ascott. Said when he was in GB AR had Driver, Jennings, Finley, Nelson all running around at various times. There was always someone open.
Move em to Vegas.
Didn't Rodgers win the MVP in 2014 with this exact group (Nelson, Cobb, Adams, R. Rodgers, Abby, Janis)? I guess Quarless and Jarrett Boykin were there, guess those guys were the linchpins.
Rodgers decline coincided with Quarless going gun crazy on a girl. Just sayin.
I have it from a guy at a Packer game (fellow (intoxicated) fan) that his decline started with his relationship with Munn. Call it the Munn Effect, or Munn's the Word, or Munn-thing Works. Take your pick.
BTW, why don't the Packers just hire Warner. Maybe he could straighten things out. Couldn't hurt.
Does he bring his wacky wife?
Saw a meme earlier today (or last night) that was a pic of AR and Munn. Caption was, "I was a NFL MVP before I met you." Thing is, he won his 2nd MVP after they started dating.

Rodgers can't deliver the ball on time and on target. It's pretty simple. Unless he fixes that, noting else really matters. Unless, of course, he has receivers like Gronk, Calvin Johnson or Julio Jones, guys who's catch radius is massive. But that's not happening, so he needs to deliver the ball where our guys can catch it.
I bet tonight he has a pretty good game (stat wise) and smirks to the media that everything was fine all along and the just needed to R-E-L-A-X (kinda like the Lions game). But it's the Bears, so their crappy secondary will make him look better than he actually played. This will continue all season long, with him playing well only against crappy teams then really struggling against competent defenses.
Something is wrong with him. Could be injury or could some big mental hang up. But you don't go from potentially the greatest QB ever to play football and a unanimous MVP in 2014 to Josh McCown in just 21 games, when you don't change coaches, offenses or receiving personnel.

I think Janis was the lynchpin of all his success. His walking into walls was paramount to offensive success.
Jordy pre-injury, Cobb pre-contract, Adams pre-washout. But I get what you're driving at and if it were the case then Wroggers better be in McStupidface's ear. Unfortunately it sure seems like they are toeing the same, boring, ineffectual, monotonous, stale fart of an idea for offense.
Did Kurt Warner speak of the importance of a real OC? He was at his best with Martz and Haley. Not so much in NY. No coincidence.

64% of the passing yards and 66% of the passing TDs were to Jordy and Cobb. It was pretty simple then. Add in total rushing and reception yards from Lacy and 4372 of the 7364 yards were from Lacy, Jordy, and Cobb.
Go **** your ugly wife Kurt.
Little harsh there....

Um, I don't believe you.
He's talking about his wife's ears.
I think Warner is right. Rodgers is struggling to have faith in the stale predictable offense and that spills over into confidence about some of his teammates. And while the focus falls on Rodgers, we see that other players too are having issues, ie., fumbles, drops, poor routes and missed blocks and penalties. Our star RB doesn't look any more trim and fit than he looked last season. Hate to sound a like a broke record...but all these troubles are indicative of coaching.
This upcoming game with Atlanta will be our barometer and could be the turning point of this season. Either Up or Down; Forwards or Backwards; Hot or Cold.
Well get ready.....because the Packers will be lucky to score 17 vs. Atlanta.
I fail to see how Rodgers is going to magically improve over the next 7 days.
So you're not betting the over?
Last year was habit forming. I was worried about it at the time. This here's a hangover.
50+ passes per game could be just what the doctor ordered. Dial up a bunch of quick strikes in a row and bury that monkey for good.
I have to agree. I would love to see the long ball but right now the standard WCO is our best hope. That being said, I also worry that with our secondary without Shields and Randall we will lose if teams like the Falcons choose a shoot out.

I think we've seen now that isn't a deterrent .
#Packers rank 2nd in NFL with 4.2 red-zone trips per game, 17th in TD%. Getting chances to score like elite offense, just not making plays.
