I see Linsley out there. Then looked for and didn’t see Bulaga. Sure enough, he’s hurt again. Like last year. Now on IR with ongoing back problems. Packers FO once again made the right move to move on from an aging vet.

Yep. I honestly was shocked that there were some that wanted him back.  I got real tired of Bulaga not being able to finish games.

Hey, it’s not his fault his body was failing him, but he was a guy you could not count on to play a full 4 quarters. The most important quarter of a game typically is the 4th quarter and he was unavailable for way too many of those even if he started the game.

Carl Nassib came out of the closet and no one is talking about it. Hopefully, this allows the NFL to enter the 21st century

I think back to all the teams I was on through and past school and wonder how many gay guys were just miserable  because they had to hide who they were. I know a couple of instances where I'm pretty sure it lead to mental health issues. We are getting better as a society.

Funny, while I agree on Bulaga and can understand moving on from Linsley given the cost and age, I can't help but notice a certain CB who used to play (at a high level) for San Diego and who is now toiling (cheaply) for the Raiders and think of how the GB front office preferred Randall ... and Rollins ... and King.

Thought the same thing when I saw Micah Hyde intercept another pass yesterday at the safety position everyone but the front office and Dom knew he was better suited to playing than the slot CB he was misused in during his stay in GB.

Adding in the disastrous decision to pay Nick Perry after his only good season and boy the Pack's FO moves when it comes to moving on from (or paying) vets on the defensive side of the ball (hi Dean Lowry) don't look all that good.

Raiders fans travel well---mostly because their ex-spouses have restraining orders on them at home.

In my experience they are not all travelers.   My daughter lives in SoCal about 10 miles from SoFi stadium, I spend quite a bit of time out there.  I see substantially more Raider hats , shirts and jackets than Rams, Chargers, Dodger and Angel gear.  It’s not even close IMO.

There might still be some Raiders fans in SoCal from when they were the LA Raiders.  And just in general, the fact that they’re a bit of a renegade organization and have a cool helmet logo attracts a certain amount of fans to them everywhere.
