After watching Dekker in last years state tourney and watching Keonig this season, I don't think Koenig will have the impact as a freshman as Dekker has had this year. Keonig did have a nice drive with a spin move for a bucket and hit 2 clutch Ft in the final minute and usually brought the ball up court, but he was not a dominate player in the game as most big time recruits are. By this I mean like Olson, Okey, Steinsma, etc.

Individually, whereas Sam is mostly offensive minded particularly putting the ball in the basket Bronson appears to be able to handle pressure bringing it up, has uncanny court vision and can score when the situation dictates that. Also BK is a very good defender and should not have a problem adjusting to Bo's demands.
I see those two who eventually will compliment each other VERY well when playing together.

Just IMHO
It's pretty rare for a true freshman to step in and take over games in the Big Ten, and Dekker has that ability and confidence and at times he's done just that for the Badgers.

Koenig is a different kind of player. He doesn't have a scorers mentality really at all and that's the only concern I have about him. Sometimes he's too unselfish and in Bo Ryan's system that will only get magnified.

Still, he's an elite passer, has a decent handle, and can create a lot of opportunities off the dribble and that can certainly help this team. Jackson and Marshall turn the ball over way too much for my liking. Koenig is also a pretty solid defensive player and since he's 6'3" he can defend multiple positions which is also good.

I just wish they had another scorer to go along with Dekker. I know people hate to hear about Vander Blue but a trio of Blue, Dekker, and Koenig would be pretty damn impressive. Heck, add Blue to this current team and they probably win the conference going away.
