Correction.... 1-3.

LAkers are learning the Princeton offense and how to execute it. Bigtime growing pain...

Remember the Heat started 9-8 their first year with the big three. It takes time for everyone to fit into and get comfortable witht their roles. I am concerned but not nearly as much if this was happening 30 games into the season. Lakers could gel late or even next year like the Heat did. I can wait.

Kobe, Nash, Gasol are all above average in basketball intelligence...it will gel soon.

Mike Brown... Never liked his approach. Only coach to have had LeBron and Kobe on his tean and never win it all.

Yeah, good luck with that old squad running D'Antoni's offense. They'll be out of gas by February
The problem is we've seen that LA can't run with OKC and they aren't disciplined enough to play defense for an extended series with a team like San Antonio that is good at the half court.

The other factor is that it's very possible that Memphis might be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the West and they are a matchup nightmare with Randolph and Gasol inside.

The Lakers aren't as good as they look on paper, and Kobe can't do it all anymore.

They might win 50-55 games but I don't see them getting far in the playoffs because there are several teams that are flat out better than them. The Clippers are the best team in LA
Tschmack,

Nobody said it was going to be easy...Lakers just played their best game of the season...against Denver. 17 three pointers and Howard was beast all around.

Nash knows D'Antoni's system. I am curious to see how the Lakers do in Game 11-20 AFTER his return.

antawn Jamison 33 points off the bench??? Duhon 7 of 8 from the three arc? At least we are showing some depth there.

Things will play out as they are meant to be. I am guessing the Lakers at least make the western conference finals.
Nash has not played at all yet essentially. It is not panic time yet. Season is just 20% in. The Lakers will have to put it together over the next 40 games. The best game of the season was when Kobe scored 14 and they lost the game when he scored 40. It's time to take the Jordan approach... You have to trust your teammates and you can win.

Curious situations going on all across the team... Howard takes the mike on an airplane and announced Kobe is really 75...

Kobe tells Pau publicly he needs to put his "big boy pants on"...

D'Antoni benched Pau...

Its a circus there.

Where have you gone Mr. Nash?

And yes, right now, we are the second best team in LA. Lets talk about that at season's end.
Tschmack,

I am sure the Laker haters are enjoying this. But, realistically, you have to consider Nash has not essentially played yet and Gasol is Mr. Tendinitis in both knees. Blake is out for 4-6 weeks. So far, this is looking like a royal screwup.

The meshing of big personalities is a job better suited for Phil Jackson vs. D'Antoni (seems like he has issues with Gasol, Hill, and a few others).

Lord, the PG position is horrible. DAre I say,... bring back Fisher as Nash's backup??
