Now we know. Arod will be back. And I think he will be focused like he was for that Falcon playoff game way back in 2010, even though MM will rely more on the run early than we did on that first drive against the Bears so long ago when Arod was healthy. I look for some play action roll outs to Rodgers right (naked bootleg) leading to some long passes to Jordy (two TDs for him), as well as a TD each for Jones and Cobb, Lacy over 130 yards, Cutler TWO ints and three TD passes, us pulling away in the third quarter when the D gets a couple three-and-outs.

Pack 45, Bears 34.

What is the temperature gonna be at game time in Chicago? Possible light snow, winds at 17, temperatures will be rapidly dropping. Not good for a rusty QB with a healing shoulder.

Bears aren't any good.

Packers have no Matthews or Jolly.

If Rodgers plays the entire game, Packers 24 Bears 20. Only because I am a Packers fan.

Packers get up on the Bears 24-6 at halftime. Cutler with three picks. Trestman benches Cutler and the Bears come storming back to take a 29-27 lead. Crosby lines up with 6 seconds left for a 37 yard kick and hits the right goal post and bounces out. We spend the offseason cursing Crosby again. IF that doesn't happen, then the Packers win 35-31

Difficult game. Bears will be coming after Rodgers again; Jeffrey and Marshall eat up our DBs; no Matthews is a huge loss given that he gives Cutler fits; Forte can gash us up the middle given Jolly is out and our run defense lately. Rodgers back is priceless. If Lacy can be effective on a banged up ankle, call it 24-21 GB -- and we are holding our breath at the end as our defense bends but doesn't quite break.

These games always seem to be close between the Packers and Bears but for whatever reason I think the Packers and Rodgers are going to take out their frustration tomorrow on the Bears.    Rodgers has an ATL playoff game type performance and I think the defense scores a TD- probably Tramon Williams who has been locked in lately.

Packers 42 Chicago 17

I like the Packers in this one. Getting Rodgers back will be an emotional boost for the team.

The defense needs to play better against the run. Raji must show why he thinks he is worth more than 8 mil a year. Neal and Perry need to show why they were high draft picks and put some pressure on the QB. The secondary needs to get on the same page with each other.

The oline needs to play well in the run game and especially in pass protection.
