Tighter battle than some anticipate, but we'll get turnovers in the first half that leads to a 17-7 half time lead. Two TDs for Cobb and one for Bennett help turn the tide. Clay with two sacks. Pack 34, Bengals 26.

Cobb likely won't play.
Packers should win this even if they started Davis and Janis at WR.
Ross is their 1st rounder, #9 overall I think. Fastest guy at the combine. They'll miss Eifert.
No John Ross or Tyler Eifert at practice again today for #Bengals. Safe to assume we won’t see them playing Sunday.

I see a big game from the Packers safeties.
Depends who we have left, if Bryce Paup, Mark Murphy and Perry Kemp can go, I like the Packers to win 31-17. Also, I think you will see some splash plays from Mark D'onofrio as well
ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi predicts on NFL Live that Bengals WR AJ Green will have 200 receiving yards Sunday vs Packers.

Take it he's not impressed with the corners.
Packers 31
Bungles 17
Kevin King makes Tedy Bruschi look foolish.
AJ Green beats Kevin King deep on a sick double move for a TD but otherwise catches a number of short ones. The Bengals also get a fluke running TD when it looks like the entire Packers defense blows through the Bengals' line but nobody actually makes a tackle. Otherwise it's a very long day for the Bengals offensive line. Packers score a few TDs, a few FGs and even drill Andy Dalton for a safety.
Packers 32-17.
Going to the game this weekend, pretty geeked up. Haven't been since the renovation. Clay's get a sack to take the team record from KGB and the Packers win, 27-21.
GPG
I think this defense resonds well and keeps the Bungels to a TD and a couple FGs. Rodgers plays like himself, gets Bennett on track, Adams plays like a #1 and they get the young RBs some extra work.
Packers 31
Bungels 13
Uncle Ted will come out of the closet finally admitting he is indeed a dotard.
Pack 24 Bungles 20. I think it will be an uncomfortably close game, but somehow the Pack pulls through. I just think this time of year the Pack isn't usually on all cylinders yet and I expect this will be one of those games it shows. If the Pack was reasonably healthy, I'd be looking at a blowout, but I just wonder if there's just too many guys missing to really blow out a team like the Bengals who do have some talent even though they have played awful so far this year.

Okay Lloyd.
Doubtful = 10% chance to play.
Would feel a lot better if Jordy and Brian go Sunday.
Bengals have scored a total of 9 points over two games at home.
Two offensive starters, TE & RG, and the 3rd WR/1st round pick are not playing.
No freakin' way the Bengals should score more than 17 points.
28-17 good guys.
Cincinnati is impotent on offense, and there is no excuse for them to have any success against us. No matter who is/isn't playing, or any other variable added, we should dominate them completely.
Dalton is completing roughly 55% of his passes, for less than 180 yds/game average, with a 47.2 QBR. So help me, if he finds his mojo against our defense...I'm going looking for Compers
Surprisingly, they have defensed the pass pretty well, although they have Houston to thank for that. However, they cannot stop the rush, giving up an average of 160+ yds/game.
If that isn't a game plan in a nutshell, I don't know what is.
Packers 34
Bungles 9

Perfect for the dart board.
As usual, I'm nervous......but hope the Pack will win 21 - 10.

Don't worry, the DC defense will cure them.
Forgot the prediction. Packers win 23-10.
I will not be around for the next two weeks. Vacation calls and the wife said no computers. So I will miss the next three games. If there is anyone out there that records them, I would be interested in purchasing a DVD of those games.
Pack still licking its wounds from a 2nd straight butt kicking to the Falcons and will come out sluggish in this one. down 16-14 at half and escape with a 24-19 win.
if we drop this one, this might start that early season slide that prompts yet another midseason Rodgers battle cry catch phrase to turn things around.
"Relax, Run the table, Rub some dirt on it!"
either way , a furious run by the Pack in December prompts a literal X4 circle jerk that GB wins the North by way of 9-7 tiebreaker with the lions. Surviving the Buccaneers in the first round gives Dom a double lifetime contract.
Much progress is seen during a 65-17 nailbiter in Atlanta the following week, allowing Ted to stand pat and pass on cant miss prospect and 3rd cousin BJ Watt in round 1 and take all DBs in Aprils draft. sorry to spoil it for ya

Dude.
I'm hen-pecked.
We need a new term for you!
Mrs. Blair Kiel let's me watch 24 hours of football per weekend. We plan vacations around Packer games. I have watched games on-line from England and Romania....put your wife on the phone and we'll talk some sense into her.
Root cause analysis : Lack of an effective training program.

Apparently no mention of cell phone?
Surely having game or score updates sent to you via text would be OK.
Hope you enjoy your family time in any case.

I GOT IT!!
Cat-o-nine tails!
Right???
Going to be interesting whether the weather influences the way the Packers will play this game. With it possibly being the hottest home game in Packer history & the Packers having defensive players out at every position, TOP should be a major concern for MM. On the offensive side, short passing, ball control, sustained drives, ala the Seattle game, should be strived for. On defense, I wonder if Capers will call a more aggressive game, not wanting a "bend but don't break" defense this week, fearing too many snaps will wear it out.
TyMont will have over 100 on the ground.
packers 28-17

Going to be close to 90 degrees at kick off tomorrow. Important for the defense that's missing some starters up front to get off the field quickly. Have to expect Monty Adams and RJF will be active tomorrow for rotation to keep the DL fresh.
I predict a lot more national anthem kneeling across the NFL tomorrow.

Agree. Good point, FightPhoe. It's going to be an extremely tough game. This should be a statement game from our Defense. Which Defense shows up? I think IF we can have a few loooooong drives for TD's and keep the Defense fresh, we will win a close game.
Agree about AJ Green. We must contain him somehow and don't let the redhead get comfortable in the pocket.

Careful here, SanDiego will call you out for being too political.

Yeah, GOL, time to start participating in your marriage.
Wifey always checks on my sports schedule before we decide to do something. She cares that it is important to me.
Your wife is a role model.
I purposely did not say it was our 40th wedding anniversary trip - given the grief I took for saying something about that in a different thread. My wife is not a football fan which I knew when I dated her. However, I have been to Packer games in the past, and will see two others this year - one with her in Carolina vs the Packers. And almost all the Packer stuff I have which is considerable have been because of her. So contrary to what these few words make it seem like to the outside world, she really does back my interests - as I do her interests. This trip includes some of my interests and some of hers - none of which are football related. Pragmatically, where we will be going is probably not conducive to computer usage anyway. And I question the time available to be on line given the schedule.
None of your replies answered my question.
Have fun.
Ghost. You owe nobody here any kind of explanation. Family first. Have fun. Get lost off the grid. Nothing beats completely unplugging from the day to day for a while.
