Hard to tell how much of Boykin's rough start was on AR and he showed great hustle and awareness in recovering his fumble. Losing both Cobb and JJ is a big blow, but the team will adjust and don't see the offense struggling much more than normal. Adversity builds character and the team plays well in the friendly confines of Lambeau.

Pack 34

Brownies 20

In honor of breast cancer awareness month and Quarterbacks (namely Rodgers) being the healthiest position on the team, the Packers roll out their new pregame warmup routine where players take turns punching cancer patients while eating a cheeseburger with Big Mac Sauce (because they're 'muricans!).

Rodgers and Weeden are named team captains and go out for the coin flip. Rodgers actually wins the toss but in a moment of grace defers to his elder and the Browns take the opening kickoff, which is what Rodgers wanted anyway because that cancer patient is still standing.

Fancy this logic, just based on the last game...

Cle = worse O than Bal (so Clev should score under 17)

Cle = similar D as Bal (so GB should score at least 19)

GB = due to player losses, potentially worse on O vs Clev than vs Balt

GB = due to player loss, potentially worse on D vs Clev than vs Balt

GB gains home field advantage vs Clev

********************************************************************

GB has 2 or more delay-of-game penalties just to drive us crazy

Crosby kicks 3 FGs

Lacy goes over 100 yds (1 TD)

Jordy is mostly shutdown

One of our new "pass receivers" has at least one fumble

Finley has a huge day (2 TDs)

GB  30

Cle  13

Kim Heidorn came to Hidden Valley Elementary in the fall of 1973. It's fair to say I was smitten from the start. We kept an eye on each other from a distance the way many 8 year olds do but it was senseless to deny the chemistry between us.

And so it came to pass that when it was time for things to escalate I did the only sensible thing. I challenged Kim to a tetherball game. My plan was to let Kim win as an ice breaker. The other kids knew of my mastery of the game so they were quick to notice a closer game than anticipated.

At some point it became evident Kim simply didn't have the game to take what was being handed to her. I dispatched of her and that was that. We admired each other from a distance but things would never advance any farther. I had simply lost all respect for her. Sometimes there's simply too much talent.

There's a lesson here.

Always thought he was a genius.

One day I was wearing a wool coat. Brett asked me what it was made of; before I could answer he rubbed it and said "Felt."

Or not...
