Everyone in Hollywood knew it.  At some point in 1947 (stories say October 1947 but it's very hard to pinpoint) Milton was bet by a guy in a steam bath he was bigger. Someone in Milt's group said, "Milt, just take out enough to win". The someone was Jackie Gleason as the story goes

I'll take the Packers in this game as most "pundits" don't seem to be giving them a chance here.  27-24 Packers.  Randall, Hayward, Neal and Peppers are defensive stars.  Packers get 3 sacks and 2 INTs on Palmer plus a fumble recovery late to seal the deal.

Packers don't gain a yard rushing or get a TD passing.  Rodgers moves the ball via the penalty as he catches the AZ defense in transition numerous times.  The Packer defense shows the NFL how to throttle the NFL's #1 offense with a pick six.  Crosby adds a FG.  Packers win 10-0

In an unrelated report, fantasy leagues across the country say that fantasy owners have cut every Packer player on their rosters and added the Packer defense. 

Part of the reason the pundits aren't giving the Packers much of a chance is that this is a bad matchup for GB.   Defensively, this team has had a history recently of getting carved up by good QBs and Palmer fits that description.  

The offensive line is totally banged up and the Cards DL is one of the better ones in the league.   Then there's the secondary - they make a lot of plays on the ball. 

The last piece of the puzzle is special teams and the Cardinals have been pretty damn good there too. 

Arians is going to go right after that Packers D and I think it's going to be ugly.  What I am hoping for is the Packers get an early turnover and score - if nothing else to build confidence and momentum.   They can certainly win this game if they play well but it might be their toughest test of the year (including playoffs) and they haven't exactly played inspired ball most of this year. 

I guess the first 6 weeks weren't inspiring. Neither were the wins over the Vikings or Cowboys.

I didn't like this defense chances even with Shields and now he's confirmed to be out. 2 rookies starting outside vs that receiving group and the Dom defense vs smart, veteran QB's like Palmer. This one could get ugly real quick.....I hope the game is close but I foresee a lot of easy pitch and catch to wide open receivers over the middle of the field all day long.  They love to challenge teams deep as well and the Panthers had a lot of success torching GB with the long ball.....the plays should be there for them vs the rookie CB's. I'm sure Hyde will be routinely picked on and exploited in coverage as well.

Gonna need the pass rush to have a game similar to the one they had vs the Rams....just relentless pressure.  I think the Cards get off to a fast start and GB's below average offense will be unable to keep up

Cards win 38-21

They had a solid game against MN but Dallas and Oakland?  Hardly inspiring.   I'm not sure they beat the Cowboys if Romo was playing. 

Probably have to go back to the Rams game in mid October to find a game where they played really well in all phases. 

Bwwaaahhhahahah....

They rushed for 235 yards. Pounded it right down their throats. Yes I'm certain Romo would've won the game for the Cowboys.
