I got nothin'. I don't know where this Packers team is at.

We blew CAR away last year. Rodgers threw 3 TDs, giving us a 24-3 lead at the half. Rodgers tore CAR's D to shreds, finishing with a 154.5 QB rating. As a team, we had 30 carries for 122 yds. Our D delivered 3 sacks and 1 INT by Hayward.

Can we do that again? Would love to see it. Our D needs to show up for a change, and shut Stewart out, while containing Newton.

I predict they play a good game.

I also predict Kuechly will play like a man possessed after getting his ass tossed out of last years game in GB.

Going to be an interesting game.

I think the Packers are either really going to be pissed about all the negative press and how bad the whole team played and come out fighting, and they'll win, score, GBP 35 Pans 21 or the Packers aren't as good as we think they are and lose again,  Pans 35 GBP 10.

I likewise confess to not knowing to expect other than I think Carolina is going to move the ball on the D.

My faith/confidence in Aaron Rodgers and the OLine leads me to a 28-24 prediction in favor of the good guys.

Packer fans everywhere start panicking.

Closer game than that. Stewart becomes the new Hoover, Olsen gets plenty of balls thrown his way. But does not get quite that many yards. Cam runs over and injures a player or two. Special teams do well. Defense does ok with backups Eliot gets a tipped ball off Peppers. Offense starts out strong but stubborn play calling results in our WR's still not getting open often. DT Short eats Lindsay's lunch and pushes the pocket back over and over. Lacy starts out ok but bumbles and fumbles and gets pulled.

Carolina 21- GB 20

It boils down to the D and specifically the run D.  If they can make Carolina one dimensional there is no way Cam Newton will beat them throwing the ball.  However, if they let Stewart and that OL dictate the tempo and hold the ball I don't like their chances.

I can't recall a time where GB played two stinkers in a row and I have to believe MM and the Packers are tired of hearing how "bad" they are.  I also am not sold on the Panthers at this point.

Packers win 23-10 - and it's not that close.

I think our pass rush got so much **** this week that they are going to be all over Newton. DBs reap the benefits. Picks galore.

GB finds its run game again, and thus its passing game. Could be a rout. Seems improbable, but I'd be thrilled with that.

I expect big things from Clements the Confused.  Try and throw deep 3 times, punt. Hopefully the Wizard can mask the dumb****ery on this offense.

Who ever thought that statement would be the reality.  Christ.

Like Rusty had mentioned Clements hasn't exactly been successful anywhere else other than as a position coach.  I thought with this offense how can you fail?  He has actually achieved the impossible.

Plain and simple, considering his past track record the leash should be short.  This guy needs to be demoted pronto.  The Boot looks like he's going to need to resume his old role.  Hopefully the Wizard doesn't go off the rails because of it.

Mike's been having too much fun telling old stories to new audiences in the D and ST meetings.

Time to kick Clement's ass out of his old BarcaLounger and start alpha dogging the O room again.

And take down those Era of Ara pictures.

After last week's meltdown on both sides of the ball, I have no idea what to expect from the Green and Gold. I'm hoping we shake last week off and mop the field with Panthers. 24-10 Packers. Stopping Newton from running is key to our winning this game. Did we do enough to fix things in this week's practice? We'll find out in a few hours. GO PACK, GO!!!

<<THIS>> Unfortunately, I have to agree.  I don't see it happening thiswedk.  20-14 Carolina.  I hope I am wrong.

Packers come out angry and mean, get out to early lead but Panthers are not going down easy. Battle back and forth with Packers 3rd qtr hiccup but Packers get big plays from stars and role players. D rebounds and both Adams and Lacy re-establish themselves.

Packers prevail 27 -23!!!!

The Pack is Back!!!!

As I was one of the homers predicting a Packer win in Carolina and you pretty well diagnosed the outcome of the loss, can you let us know how next week's game will go?

Well I was off by 10pts on both sides.  I don't know, when problems persist for multiple games, it's hard to imagine they get fixed in a week, on the road vs a 7-0 team with key players out of action.

This week?  Too early but I'm sure everyone will see an ass whoopin by GB.  At home where they have been undefeated for a while, get some key guys back, vs. a very struggling team.  Count me in.  Playing DET couldn't have come at a better time.  They will need it to gear back up for their trip to MIN.
