Baltimore has the OLB to hold the edge. Ed Reed wants a ring, badly. Haloti Ngata can eat up any double team. Patrick Willis wants to be the next Ray Lewis (at LB). Dashon Goldson is a FA going up against a QB that loves to go deep to a S killer in Torrey Smith. Gore is a poor mans Ray Rice.

But SF has an OL and DL that eventually grinds these things down to brass tacks. Half time score is similar to GB at SF. 24-21. Then force comes to push and talent takes over.

38-27 SF.

The game no one wanted to see would be Atlanta vs. Baltimore & if that was the case, I'd probably be a few thousand richer....but I digress.

I'm hoping the Ravens win, simply to give the Niners a Super Bowl loss. We have 1 loss (supposedly), the Steelers have 2 losses. Niners are 5-0 & on the "Quest for Six"

I said it before the GB/SF game. The winner is taking it all.

Unless we see some uncharacteristic turnovers from the Niners, I cannot see how they lose with all those #1 draft picks on both sides of the ball. They're not invincible as I know the Packers, Giants, Redskins, Steelers, Pats & Ravens can beat them with similarly healthy teams. Yeah I said Redskins. A healthy RG3 scares the crap outta me. He's x4 the QB, Colin Kaepernick is.

The Niners are stacked & have been for 2-3 years. They are the healthiest team in the league this year. Their new stadium opens in 2014. They're confiscating knock-off T-Shirts from vendors on the street because, "It's taking money away from the team." Roll Eyes It's their turn. They're going to win. You don't have to like it. You will have to live with it. At least they're not overrated like that bull$hit Giants team from last year.

Final score 31-23 Niners in a game that probably isn't that close.
My prediction?

I will watch off and on but nothing too closely. I will gripe about someone doing their own rendition of the national anthem and wil say to the TV "just sing the darn song right"

I won't watch halftime or care. I won't watch for the commercials I will catch them later on youtube if it interests me.

Oh the game prediction? Baltimore will win 13-10 with a last second FG. But I will be watching something else and not even notice that it happened.

Did I mention that I just don't care this year?
Flacco kind of reminds me of a bigger, quicker version of Lynn Dickey. He's a little inconsistent, but he throws a GREAT deep ball. I'm hoping he gets a couple of these on Sunday. I don't know if I'd call Flacco an elite QB, but he may be the best of the "non-elite" QBs out there.

Unfortunately, I think the Ravens are too old and beat up on defense to shut down Frisco and that absolutely great offensive line. A younger version of Suggs, Lewis, and Reed out there and things might be different, but I think those guys are not what they once were. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

San Fran 27 Ravens 20
