Zimmer does not have anywhere near the same talent in MIN that he had in CIN.

Truth.

If that's the case, Zimmer may fall into the same trap as Capers... trying to do the things that SHOULD work rather than the things that WILL work.

Short week favors the veteran team and QB. Vikes have new coach, which hurts with a short week. Where the short week hurts us is with the D front 6-7, where we are changing a lot of things.  Don't think that rain will be that big a factor, except that it might cut my tailgate short.

 

If TB plays - Think it will be a shoot out like last week's first half. Can't count on turnovers to save us. Take the over. The game will be on the line in the fourth quarter.

Without TB - Its over at halftime.

 

Prediction: the stadium will be emptied due to lightning. I'll listen to the end of the game while riding home well after  midnight.

But, coaches don't really matter, it's all about the players, and the Vikings defense is worse than it was last year.

The law of averages are with the Packers.  So is a non-Packer fan, usually not positive, co-worker, who thinks this game will be over by half time.  He is expecting a big Packer victory.  And was not dissuaded when I brought up various things that could trip up the Pack.  So if a guy with no iron in the fire is going to be that positive, so will I.  Packers win  45-10. 

Close game, closer than it should be since we get run on, still, and Minn does not do what Chi did, that is stop running, but #12 is still The Man this week.  Pack wins but doesn't cover, 31-24.

Thursday football sucks. Has for a few years now. Guys are beat up & not physically ready to play. It's all about money but the Pack will do what it takes to win, then take their mini-bye. No AP, no hot rookie QB, gimme a break. This should be a laugh-er if the Pack plays their game. 

 

If they lose....Seasons over

Why do I have a feeling it was already over?

I expect to see a heavy dose of screens to the backs and Cordoroy with Ponder at QB.

Here's a prediction. If JF Hawk diagnosed a screen perfectly and stepped in front of the back and housed it for 6 this site would collapse into itself like a black hole.

Please note I'm not predicting this will happen. That would be foolish. I'm predicting what would happen if it happened.

I expect to see stretch plays featuring our scatback from Bama

I expect to see Starks.  

I expect to be jittery from about 5:25 until around 7:45, when my wife gets home from New York.  Between those times I will be on full media blackout so I don't know what's going on with the game.  Watching football with a toddler is impossible, so there's no point in trying to keep up with it live.  

 

The SECOND my wife gets home, it's a quick kiss, a handing-over of the little one and time to show off my 4.3 speed from the house to the Man Cave to pop on the DVR.  

Flight will be delayed

I expect to see a lot of leg humping vids from ICyayayayaya.

Ponder completed many security blanket passes to Kyle Rudolph in the past.  Not tonight. 

I predict that taking tomorrow off was a good idea.
