Yep what a joke. Finley took 4 steps, got his butt down and his elbow and then the ball popped out. Hernandez landed on his back and the ball came out.
While both are clearly TDs if they rule 1 isn't a TD then the other shouldn't have been either. They didn't even review it even though Simms and that dolt Jim Nantz were all "oh it was reviewed" (in like 3 seconds).

A lot of D's have been bad, which is why I'm not panicking after today.
Interesting difference between Brady and Pats' O vs. Rodgers and Packers' O. Rodgers makes a lot of crazy-accurate throws to guys who are covered pretty well. Not all the time but it seems like at least half the time. Brady seems to always hit a guy that has at least a couple yards separation.
Hand weeding an acre garden is more entertaining than watching the Dolphins play.
I think the difference between those two plays is that Hernandez had it poked out. Maybe that's another 'act'. If that's the case it's pretty silly. Why give a disincentive for the defender trying to get the ball out? It shouldn't be better for him to leave the receiver alone and hope the all wiggles out on its own... I don't think I've ever heard that kind of play explained by the NFL, so that's all speculation.

The Patriots have two great TEs. Neither are Finley good, but Gronkowski/Hernandez are the best 1-2 combo I can remember in many years.
