Not sure what to make of the 9ers but until further notice that’s not a playoff team. Purdy isn’t the guy and that team features a number of guys that are either getting old or can’t stay healthy.

Agreed. QBs have a huge advantage there. Defenders are left to literally guess what the QB is going to do. We saw it today with Stroud when Ja Money threw a shoulder into him. The NFL should take a look at that again. You want to run... you're a ball carrier. You get what you get.
It is quite a dilemma for the defense that is for sure.

The few bits of CHI games I've seen this year, I've seen CW milk that sideline when running too. He'll run and even fake a move as if he's going to slide or step OOB, and then keep running. He'll probably push that as far as it can go until somebody does something about it. He may have invented the slide fake.
