from GBPB's Pete Dougherty:
Jason Wied’s leave of absence from the Green Bay Packers is because of a non-life-threatening medical condition, a team source said Thursday.
Wied, the Packers’ vice president of administration and general counsel, has been on a leave of absence since Tuesday, when the team announced he’d be gone “indefinitely” for “personal reasons.”
The source said Wied is undergoing testing and possible treatment for the condition, and it’s unclear when he’ll be able to return to work.

Herbal Dependency
Seriously, hope Jason is able to work everything out and get back to good health soon.

sleep apnea is a killer...
Wasn't sleep apnea a factor in Reggie White's death?
Yes. It was the cause of death.
Herbal Wied
maybe I should apply
That's one helluva job to walk away from...
Which should tell you how badly he's struggling right now. I went to high school and college with Wied. Working for the GBP was his lifelong dream. I haven't been in touch with him for awhile nor will I claim any inside info from the recent past. I have no idea what's specifically wrong with him, but for him to resign means to me he has no other choice health-wise.

I have never heard od someone getting treatment for an "herbal remedy". I wonder what is was , the only thing I can think of that would need treatment is poppy pods.
I wish him well in his future endeavors and hope he reaches a point of balance in his life. He will be missed as he was a driven , important cog in the Packer Org.
