LeRoy was just on Mike & Mike and talked about the Rodgers legacy. He just can not understand why there is a small per centage of "Packer fans" who hate Rodgers. He said Rodgers had nothing to do with what happened to Favre they were not Packer fans if they did not support the whole team. He also said Rodgers needs this win to solidfy his legacy for those "fans.

Myself, I think 5 Super Bowl wins would win those "fans" over.

My dad has talked about during the Lombardi era there were people who wanted Bart Starr's backup to be playing instead of Starr. Takes all kinds I guess and those are the kinds that have a perpetual rain cloud over them.

FTFTFY

Yes Virginia-Ka-Naive, there are Favre fans who don't like AR.
I grew up a Packers fan partly because I was born in Wisconsin, and partly because my father was a Packers fan. At some point he changed his allegiance to the Bears...not sure how that happens. A few years ago I asked him when and why he became a Bears fan. He said he switched about ten years ago because he was tired of TOG. He also said that he grew tired of TOG getting all of the credit when the Packers won, and none of the blame when they didn't.

This was well before the yearly retirement charade began.

So I guess no matter how successful you are, there's always going to be some fans that don't like you. I'm not surprised that some fans don't like Rodgers....they probably never will.

I remember people writing to the Milwaukee Sentinel (before they merged with the Journal) and saying how Anthony Dilweg or Ty Detmer should be starting over Favre.

The epitome of a cheesehead
