Prayers with a neighbor who lost a 10 yr old son today and to family of Denny Tauscher who passed earlier this week. Words don't do justice.

Wayne is a neighbor. Grant was only 10. He came home from school and told his parents he didn't feel well. He went to bed and never woke up. He was gone. I'm not sure how to deal with this having two kids between 12 and 15. It's absolutely crushing. My old neighbor has a son that sat next to Grant in school. Played on his soccer team. It makes no sense. I'm crying as I write this. Been holding it back all night.

Gave my kids a long hug tonight and told them I loved them and am proud of them. I think I do that a lot but how much is enough?

Went to Grants service on Tuesday. The entire town was there. His soccer team wore their jerseys. Hugged his mom and dad and told them words were pointless.

His soccer coach gave an incredible talk that did Grant proud. His best friend tried to tell Grant he loved him and missed him and couldn't get 10 words out before breaking down. How does a 10 year old deal with that?

No one knows why.  Rumor was an anyurism but that's not certain. Grant was a great athlete that played soccer, baseball, and wrestled. Crazy speed for a 10 year old that never stopped smiling.

Guess God just needed him.

The whole perspective thing always with a good bitch slap.    We can all piss and moan about trivial problems.    The number one blessing we have is our health and our children's health.

I can handle bad things happening to dip****s.   Innocent young kids getting dealt a ****ty hand I never will be able to wrap around it.

Godspeed little man
