Lions up 47-9 and finally bring in the backup QB, and then throw a play action pass on the first play. More bush league stuff.
Lions still blitzing, too. WTF Campbell
Lions at Vikes next week, must watch TV

Wish they could both lose!
I do feel bad for Hutchinson and won't watch the replay. Never like to see any player suffer a gruesome injury even if it's against a rival.
Coach Meathead might have a low IQ and absolutely zero class... but he does put an entertaining product on the field most of the time.
Do you know his IQ?
Zero class?

BTW. Today was Jerry Jones' 82nd birthday.

Concern for left Tibia/Fibula fracture after impact with his teammates shin.
Often see these in MMA with the shin block during leg kicks. Brutal injury.#OnePride pic.twitter.com/i493KtvET6
He was screaming pain before he even had Dak on the ground. Reminded me of Theisman or Tim Krumrie.
MM is a good dude but I have to believe the Jones' are discussing his continued employment this evening. I was surprised he didn't lose his job after GB went in there and crushed them last year.

They need to extend Micah Parsons soon.
They are in deep shit.
82 year old Jerrah is indeed in deep shit. Can he can McCarthy? And replace him with who? He canβt elevate Zimmer, their defense is much worse than last year. Bring in Belichick? Canβt rule anything out, but a mid-season coaching change from outside the organization is almost unheard of. I canβt think of any team thatβs done that.
Jerruh's made a mess out of that organization. I can't think of any team that's hired from outside the organization in mid-year, but it wouldn't surprise me if they tried with Belichek. If there's anyone who might be able to salvage something, it would be him. But then he'd also have to retain the rest of the staff, except maybe Zimmer. Tough position to be in. Happy 82, Jerruh!
"Cowboys owner Jerry Jones turned 82 on Sunday, but it wasnβt a birthday to remember.
The Lions humiliated his team 47-9 in the most lopsided home loss that the Cowboys have experienced since 1988. After the game, Jones said that the loss was a βshockerβ and called it both βvery concerningβ and βvery humbling.β Jones said that he wasnβt ready to discuss changes in the wake of the loss, but he did rule out dispatching head coach Mike McCarthy."
I think the downfall of any team hiring Belichick is he'd likely want control over personnel decisions as well. I have a tough time seeing JJ agreeing to that.
For those who watched were the fans booing the cowpunks? America's team my ass.

Jerry cares about money first, attention second, and winning third.
M3 to NY ??? Bold prediction.
A Lions public relations representative quickly corrected the fourth-year head coach and relayed the information that Hutchinson had a fractured tibia. He reportedly had emergency surgery after being taken to the hospital.
"He's in good hands right now. He's being taken care of, he'll stay back (in Dallas) and obviously, he's gonna be down for a little while," Campbell said. "So, that's tough. It's hard when you lose somebody like him. But, we'll know a lot more after this, and obviously wish him the best."

Damnit ...we got ripped off seeing Zach Tom vs. Hutch π’
I came into this season thinking the Lions would have an excellent chance the be the NFC representative in the Super Bowl. For the most part, they still look really good, but losing Hutchinson is a devastating loss.
I thought their defense overall thus year was maybe the one thing that didnβt quite look Super Bowl caliber and losing Hutchinson wonβt help. Their offensive line really does look like they can carry that team a long ways, they are an excellent group when healthy.

Offensive line health is key. The drop off from starter to backup seems most steep for that position group.

I have to wonder in BB would even consider Dallas. The guy is used to having absolute power in an organization and not sure Jerruh would put aside his ego to let that happen.
The Loins should've pulled their starters after the half, or certainly by the end of the 3rd quarter. I don't think they were in any danger of losing the game.
I also think running the tackle-eligible and other 'trick' plays was bush league, but it was the Cowboys on the wrong end of the stick, so I didn't have to cry myself to sleep last night.
I do hope that coaches like Campbell and Sirianni get their come-uppance at every opportunity. Can't stand either of those arrogant bastards.

Oh I believe one thing is sports is that sooner or later karma will come back to bite you. Campbell will eventually cost the Lions a big game in a big spot either by calling a stupid go for it play or a team coming back and giving him payback.
I have some good friends who are Lions fans and they feel the exact same way. They are worried that now they are finally good meathead will blow it for them.
Campbell is a meathead. I don't care, as long as his team beats the vikings, this weekend.

I would argue that some of his decisions in last year's championship game already cost the Lions a Super Bowl berth.

Oh without a doubt he had SF on the ropes and gambled too much. Also, didn't he get overly aggressive last thanksgiving in the loss to the Packers that may have cost the Lions homefield advantage.
He's already cost them games. Just like YA said vs. Niners in NFC CG - even in regular season vs. Packers on Thanksgiving.
Lions are a good team.....they're also very beatable due to constantly going for it on 4th down. FYI....they also play in the toughest division in football. Good luck

I of course don't know anything about the culture behind the scenes with the Lions, but one would think the players would eventually get pissed off about it.

"Winning" solves/covers up a lot of crap. Look at the Raiders as to what happens when you lose....Adams gone to the Jets....his best friend Maxx Crosby pushing coaches.
Maxx would look great in the Hafley defense. Just saying....

I didnβt see it, but Sunday at the conclusion of the Eagles game Siriani was shouting at the fans. Then at his post game session he brought his 3 young children with him to the presser. It was difficult to ask hard questions with his kids there.
He got roasted yesterday and issued a semi apology for shouting at the fans. Today on the radio he said he would bring his kids up again. It is not going over well in Philly. Lotta hate for Siriani right now in Philly.
