I remember now. Lamont Hollinquest. He's the guy. Probably sold it to this collector and now this collector thinks he can off it since the packers are wildly popular again.
you guys are fast. I was searching once again for a 1996 NFC Championship hat on ebay yesterday and came across that ring. other than to turn it around for more money I have no idea why anyone would want it. it's like buying yourself a trophy for an event you didn't participate in IMO.
There is also a SB ring for sale at the NFL Experience. It did not belong to a player though but to a staff person.

Tomorrow people can bring their own NFL memorabilla to The Experience to get a free evaluation.

I just saw on the local fox4 news a guy at the, afore mentioned, NFL EXP who had 4 SB rings to be evaluated. He had a cowboys' ring, a packers' ring and 2 others.I did not hear what the other 2 were so I'll try to find a link for it.

The Jethroe Pugh throwback jersey I own stinks.
The Son of your very own Lee Roy Caffey is the guy w/the 4 Super Bowl rings, I was speaking of in a prior post...
He has rings from SB's I, III, VI and I do not know what the 4th one is but they are worth $100,000.

Here's the video

It had 1 diamond and the other one had 3 diamonds...leading one to think that it too was a SB ring.

Could they have issued SB rings at a later date, after the first 2 NFL/NFL games were declared to be SB's?
