Stafford is trying to displace Cutler in my heart. It won’t work. I’m still in love with Cutler. That man could throw a pick with the best of them.

Stafford is more of a meerschaum pipe guy, while Smokin' Jay dangles a fag like he just don't care.  ...  Cuz he just don't care.

Gotta respect that.

Don't you have Mexicans to do the yard work for you?

They can't ever seem to make it over my landscaping wall.

A wall on your property to keep others out.

Racist.

You're assuming Kiel paid for the wall.

Is Gruden not wot you'd call a "quarterbacks coach"?

A bit different when the bullets are real, not some made for TV "Gruden's QB Camp."

It's early, but the game may have passed him by being in the booth all those years.

I'm sure next thing he will be throwing Carr under the bus for being uncoachable. Or "not my guy."

On another MNF note, sure getting some deep schadenfreude over the Lions ass-whoopin'.

Meanwhile, stats for former Packers now catching balls in Oakland.

Jared Cook 9 reception for 180 yards with a long of 45.

Jordy Nelson 3 receptions for 23 yards with a long of 17.

Cook looked fast and surprisingly powerful. My favorite ex-Packer did not.

I’m conflicted. I want Gruden to lose in the most embarrassing fashion possible, but I’d also like to see Jordy light it up tonight.

I only watched the Raiders-Rams game to see Jordy play.

I think this was a clear signal TT lost his grip on reality.

Derek Carr is a $25 million QB fraud. But with Carr as his QB Jared Cook basically doubled his receptions, yards, and TDs last year compared to his season with Rodgers. Cook certainly looks like he might double last years numbers based on last night.

No idea how many TEs Mike is going to cycle through before it’s impossible to ignore he’s not very good at involving TEs in the offense.

Cook wasn't healthy for 2/3 of the season with the Pack, but as soon as he was healthy, holy cow, you could see that he was a weapon and really helped take the offense to another level.  I would guess that maybe those health problems are why the Pack didn't want to give him big money, but it certainly turned out to be a big mistake.

The Raiduhs have had some pretty good TEs in their history like Raymond Chester, Todd Christiansen, and Hall of Famer (and Chilton High School grad) Dave Casper, so this is a pretty noteworthy accomplishment.

"Jared Cook had a career-high 180 yards on Monday night in the Raiders’ loss to the Rams. It set the team’s single-game receiving yards record by a tight end."
