Giannis ruled out for tonight's game with a hamstring injury.
Was looking forward to seeing a matchup with both teams at full strength - I guess not.

They will all play when it counts.
I think Middleton will feel the pressure to play well, tonight, with Giannis out. Portis, too. Let Dame be Dame.
That Giannis guy sucks anyway....they beat the Suns without him.
Not sure this game will prove anything one way or another.
But wouldnât it be something if Milwaukee beat the vaunted Celtics without him? Pressure is all on Boston. Fuck the Cs
Tatum crying for a foul and Lopez never even touched him other than blowing a snot rocket on him.
Tatum is such a pussy
Celtics up 15-10

Based on what we've seen so far, the Celtics are going to attack the Bucks two subpar defensive guards (Tatum and White both blew by Lillard and Beasley for wide open layups) and that Lopez in drop against the Celtics is a problem.
The Celtics are also blitzing Dame to get the ball out of his hands. Not sure they can do that with Giannis on the floor.
Bucks down 15-10 to start.
Doris Burkeâs commentary is so nauseating. Everything she says is full of hyperbole. Tone it down a little, please
This is setting up to be an obliteration. Dame is really struggling against the size of Boston and that's without Jrue playing.
Middleton is playing great. He abused White on a drive to the basket
Then Kha$h money pops a 3.
Celtics White popped a 3 to push it back to 9.
Connaughton With a put back on Crowders missed 3.
Bucks down by 7 after another Milwaukee turnover

2:30 left in first Q and Bucks down by 4 after PatBev pops a 3.
Sheesh. Give em a chance!

I'm watching with the sound off.
Doc Rivers was supposed to be the guy announcing these games.
Only down 5. Not bad. Things really stabilized when Pat Bev came in. His defense gives them a fighting chance relative to playing Dame and Beasley together.

Sheesh. Give em a chance!
Pat Bev made a huge difference. Dame and Beasley on the court at the same time is not a recipe for success against the Celtics.
Starting to get away from them now.
Pritchard is embarrassing Pat Connaughton right now. Pat looks absolutely helpless.

Ok. Now it's an obliteration.
Game over?? Ok I'll go do something else then ð
It will be interesting to see how AJ Green holds up on defense. I think he's going to have to play bigger minutes if they get to a playoff game against Boston. Beasley and Lopez probably have to reduce theirs.
Down 13. Not terrible, but the Celtics can get a good shot targeting Lopez almost every possession.

The result of this game doesn't really matter, but they need to see some things for a potential matchup.
A very good sign is that AJ Green again held up very well on defense.
Back within 5.
Back to 14 again.
Beasley and Lopez really struggle on the defensive end in this matchup.
Beasley is a traffic cone on defense.
It does make it tougher when the Bucks are not allowed to set any screens without offensive foul calls.
Down 21 near the end of the third. Probably should be a night for Middleton and Dame with a back to back tomorrow.

And somehow Gallinari is even worse as AJ Green rides the pine.
Logged back on without watching the 3rd quarter.
(16) 3-pointers for Boston.
I was expecting to see the Bucks down by an obliterating 40
Back to 12 after the Celtics push it to 21.
Would be nice to see how Giannis would change the defensive approach.
Middleton with tough D on puss boy Tatum and then pops a 3 in transition to cut it to 12
Bucks cut it to 10 then White hits another 3
Celtics can't seem to miss from 3 tonight.
Deflating
Down to 6
Celtics getting very tight. Jaylen Brown misses 2 FTs.
Portis! With a gigantic 3 to cut it to 6. Tatum misses both FT's and Doc gets a Timeout.
Here comes the obliteration......for the BUCKS!
ð
Portis hits another 3!! Cuts it to 3
But Tatum at the line.
Horford absolutely shoved Connaughton down and no call
Get it to 3, Portis just missed a tying shot and then Dame airballs.
Down 7 now. Beasley is a lot easier to isolate against for Tatum than Giannis would have been.
Tatum hits a spin move for 2 pushes it back to 7 for the Celtics.
If Foster is going to allow 98 year old Horford to just shove guys to the ground with no call.....Ummm yeah.... Boston will be really tough to beat
Portis with. Floater AND ONE!!!!
Portis misses a FT that could have made it 1.
Not sure why you sub Beverly for Dame. I'd get Beasley out instead.
Brown hits both FTs and pushes Celts lead to 4. 20.3 left.
Well.....no matter what they didn't get obliterated. ð
