6'8" 277lbs DE...put up 38 reps of 225, led all D linemen.
I knew the dude was a freak going into the combine, but 38 reps with nearly a 7-foot wingspan is beyond impressive.

4.60 40, faster than Ball's.
He's a gifted athlete, but he's really raw. He's a real unknown at this point. Sometimes he looks like JJ Watt, sometimes he completely disappears. He's still very new to football compared to other players also. Hard to gauge where he should go.

Erasmus James maybe, but Watt was a consistent playmaker unless you don't watch Badgers football
BTW, Russell Wilson was short but that didn't stop him from making a ton of plays throwing over huge UW linemen.

I wonder if a team like the 49ers might look at him as a future replacement for Justin Smith. The 49ers have 12 picks in this draft and maybe more if they get picks for Alex Smith plus compensatory picks. They'll have enough picks to take chances on guys like this.
