Burnes gives up a run on a bloop hit and the Brewers defense blows an easy throw out at the plate.
The entire Brewers offense is bad right now, but Hiura is completely overmatched.
Absolutely. Can't spell struggling without Hiura. Or at least 60% of it.
Burnes finally gets hit hard for the only time this year. Down 4-0 with 2 guys still on with no outs. Why is he still in? He's clearly out of gas.
So what has Burnes done now, 49 strike outs and 0 walks to start the season? That is a record that will never be broken IMHO.
Hader closes out a win. He's given up 1 hit and 7.2 innings with 14 strikeouts and 4 walks.

I don't get it. Is there some obscure rule in play here?
From ESPN: Godley also was at the center of a bizarre play in the second inning.
Miami had runners at the corners with one out when Isan DΓaz hit a slow roller up the first-base line. As Corey Dickerson scored from third, Godley easily threw out DΓaz at first.
But DΓaz was awarded first base when first-base umpire Marty Foster called Godley for obstruction on the play, a decision that brought Brewers manager Craig Counsell out of the dugout to argue.
I don't know what Godley obstructed. If anything Diaz should have been called out for running inside the baseline and not between the lines as he is supposed to. Ump must have been drunk. He should be suspended for such an outrageous call.
