Yogi Berra was a piker compared to Goldie.
If the Badgers lose I know who I am blaming.
Jim Jackson sounds like he has some ludes in his system
Damn, Bucky’s been flat…….ugh
They should spend 45 min every practice learning how to pass to the post and throwing lobs. They’ve had 100 chances to hit guys with mismatches, cutters, guys in the post… and they refuse to make the pass. It’s very frustrating…
Maui, burned them out……😝
Better brand of ball with this team. Drive, kick, get good looks. They actually have guys who can penetrate and attract defenders.
And Davis is special…
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers…
Johnny Davis will play professionally somewhere (likely in Europe).
You also have to wonder how much Alando Tucker angling to undermine Gard affected things last year.
If Davis continues on the current trajectory, he’s a lottery pick.

In Europe? K/D. The question lies in his quickness. Does he have elite quickness. Seems to have everything else.
Get Bowman out of there… that’s 3 turnovers he’s responsible for now in this half. Good grief…
Badgers go up 15 and then give up a 7-0 run.
Johnny Davis did not get a touch during the run.
Crowl and Davidson are from Minnesota. Davis from from LaCrosse (right on the Minnesota border)
Hepburn is from Nebraska
Of the starters, only Wahl is from the Madison/Milwaukee/Fox Valley area.

He’ll be gone next year……😢 😢 😢
Nice game for Bucky…..
Marquette starters don't do much, Wisconsin bench does even less.
Obviously Davis is significantly better than everyone else on this team.
I really like what I see in Chucky. I see him harassing opposing point guards for a long time. Lots of upside.
Crowl is wafer thin, but he has nice feet. What this team really needs is a guy like Ethan Happ. If Ethan had these players around him and would not have to be the focus...

Wahl is a Gopher

He’s been a Badger for 8 years..time to move on.

Thanks. For some reason, I thought he was from Wisconsin.
The Badgers are lucky Minnesota struggles to keep those guys in-state. The Badgers can't recruit the elite in-state talent.
I guess that what happens in Vegas does not necessarily have to stay there, this Badger team is just that, a team. A bunch of young steady guys backed up by a budding star and a old guy who seems to come up big when needed. OSU and Indiana coming up.

You mean guys like Davis?
14 assists on 31 made baskets is an improvement. You’d like to see that tick up some more, because that would indicate positive playmaking. But it’s better than 4.
I also loved the pace. Let these kids attack and create. No more of that dogmatic bullshit to the Swing.
Bowman is not a PG. He’s a turnover machine. He has some shooting and some drive, but a primary ball handler he is not. Let him be in the G rotation and play more 2. The question then becomes who will handle the ball when Hepburn sits?
Speaking of Chucky, like his game a lot. Big Ten play will be a better measuring stick, but so far so good.

Outside of Davis. And LaCrosse is almost the same distance from Minneapolis as it is Madison.
And Davis was a 3-star recruit.
The Badgers got 1 of the 4 in-state 4/5-star recruits in 2013 (Koenig) and 1 of the 2 in 2012 (Dekker). Getting a third of the in-state guys is what you'd hope for.
Since then, they've gotten 1 of 19 (Pritzl). The Minnesota guys have kept them afloat.
2014
Looney (UCLA)
Sandy Cohen (Marquette)
LaChance (Vanderbilt)
2015
Diamond Stone (Maryland)
Ellenson (Marquette)
Pritzl (Wisconsin)
2016
Hauser (Marquette)
Kostas Antetokounmpo (Dayton)
2017
Terrence Lewis (Iowa State)
2018
Herro (Kentucky)
Hauser (Marquette)
McCabe (West Virginia)
2020
Jalen Johnson (Duke)
Graham (Maryland)
2021
Baldwin (Milwaukee to play for his father)
Hunter (Iowa State)
Podziemski (Illinois)
2022
Trimble (North Carolina)
Bond (Virginia)
1-19??? Ouch!
Thank the lord we got Pritzl
What about Tyrese Halliburton from Oshkosh?
@Tschmack posted:What about Tyrese Halliburton from Oshkosh?
He was only a 3 star, but Herro de-committing screwed the Badgers over on him.
How many of these high ranking guys were true difference makers in the end?
i heard diamond stone was a stud

If they were good at all, they leave after a year.
