He got what he deserved for allowing people to call him "Matty Ice"

He's Matty Ice. The Packer defense was a blowtorch and he melted very early on.

The ice cracked beneath his feet, and underneath Matty found B.J. Raji, Tramon Williams, Clay Matthews, Charles Woodson et all waiting.

I think "Matty" is a dumb nickname, but I've got nothing but good things to say about the guy. He's a very good young player and his punk factor is low. His future is bright.

I don't have any ill will for Ryan. He's solid, seems like a great kid.

It's the media that has been douchey, hasn't been him.

Yeah. As much as I hate the undeserved nickname, I doubt he came up with it or demanded talking heads start using it. I like the guy, but I'm glad the right QB got the spotlight.

I feel the same way. I've sort of rooted against him because of the nickname, but the truth is, it's not Ryan's fault he was annointed a bit too prematurely. I certainly could see him someday actually living up to that nickname, but I am happy that day wasn't today.

Matty Ice is now 0-2 in the playoffs, so I hope he loses that moniker because it's totally stupid. Not the guy's fault mind you, but also not deserved.

When you win there's too much credit and when you lose there's too much blame. Such is the life of an NFL QB.

Ryan certainly didn't help the cause yesterday but that ATL defense was the main reason they lost.

"I'll take Eli Manning over Rodgers 10 out of 10 times". Nevermind the fact that outside of 1 miracle run...THREE YEARS AGO...Manning has been garbage.

The only thing he didn't say was he'd take Sanchez over Rodgers, which I was waiting for.

No not all his fault but he's a helluva lot more responsible for their 2 losses than Rodgers was in that 1 game last year. There was a ton of chatter about Rodgers in the big games but my God he was fantastic last year in that 1 appearance.
