McCarthy from time to time has given us a variety of coach-speak type catch words and prhases. We all know his response to injuries... he has a knee... he has a wrist... he has a groin... etc.

Some of his catch phrases:

Trust the film

Recently I heard a new one from him and now players seem to have picked it up...

I guess these are all better than programmatic.

I notice he uses the phrase 'football team' a lot -- like, you think someone's going to tune in to hear about the Packers' bowling team or charity softball or basketball aggregations, assuming they still have them?

McCarthy's terminology:

He's healthy = He's got an injury that may limit him
He's got some nagging injuries = No way in hell he will play
We're not sure the extent of the injury....we'll see what the doctors say = Where is the IR paperwork??
He'll be a game day decision = Call the morgue
"Tonight, Aaron trusted his fundamentals"

On Clay Matthews, " Can't say enough about that young man, he keeps gettin better every week."

On James Jones, "He did some good things out there. He left some plays on the field so he has to get that cleaned up."

We self-scouted ourselves. It’s our profile. How we would assume people would look at us.

Not really coach-speak, but I loved that quote.
Whenever asked a question about a player he always starts off the answer by repeating the player's name in question form....

Reporter: How was Raji's performance today?
MM: Raji? Well, I thought he...
