Great stuff from King. In an era where guys are losing their minds on the sideline and in post-game pressers, McCarthy just leads his team the right way.

You can see the frustration the players are feeling. I think Woody losing it is evidence of that, stemming from the dirty crap that happened with Jennings and extra curricular stuff against SEA.

And the Raji thing- it looked to me like he took exception to someone taking a shot at his legs or something. Any explanation from Raji on that?
Benson averaged over 4 yds per carry against the aints and that is music to my ears.

I think that MM is kinda reeling from the begining of the season
and the different defensive looks he is getting.

Teams have caught on to what MM's mode of operation is, the running game will need to be used every week as the opposing teams are working on taking away GB's potent passing attack.

This is the price of success! teams spend alot of time focusing on GB and their offense not only to defend against it but to improve their offenses also.

It is now MM's move to keep opposing teams off balance and I think that we will see a 100yd per game rusher for GB as the new norm. Ha Hahahaaha
It's not an outlier anymore... they are not executing, their gameplans are getting countered, the adjustments aren't working, and they now have a losing record 1/3rd into the season. You blow a 21-3 lead against a team like that, you have some explaining to do. It simply is not just bad luck, bad officiating, or "gotta give crdit to the other team". Not if you call yourself a contender. Which after today, maybe you can't call yourself that anymore...
Current discussion- not relevent.

Relevant? The Packers HC is getting served every week. He still refuses to run the ball, the team still hasn't been effective early in games (a sign of level of preparation), and they're still blowing or missing plays they should make (INTs, catches, tackles, etc.).

They're an ill prepared team play piss poor football, and when a team plays like they're playing right now, it's a reflection of their coach. That's where the buck stops.

Really, it is far from over. But they better start playing ball, and that starts next week against a SB favorite playing on a short week.

interesting. I wonder if MM places much more weight on some games vs others.
If I were to choose 2 games to win out of the first 5 it woulda been the Bears and Saints. Seattle and Colts games were by far the worst intensity/preparation.

I do like the weighted importance on division games if thats his MO.
Bears and Saints games felt like must wins at the time. Weve got to find a way to match urgency/intensity in some of these others

I am a class act. However, I'm not going to sit idly by while people take cheap shots at me & at the moderators I have put in place that do an excellent job.

Try & post something like that on any other board & you're gone.

FYI. I know exactly who made the edits & now so do you. You don't like it? You know where the door is.

Agreed. Boy has this season sucked so far though.
I just read through this thread- I don't see anyone suggesting the Packers fire anyone. But this team, coming off a SB and a 15-1 season, embarrass themselves against clearly inferior teams, and you don't think criticism is warranted? Seriously?

It's not too late... They can turn it around. But not gonna happen with their current level of play. The HC is the difference. They're not a well-coached team right now and the track record of success isn't gong to help him.

The "Why?" thread is fantastic. This is what EVERYONE should be asking...
Historically MM has always been able to rebound and get his teams back in the running. Where he misses the mark are the times that his teams seem to back off and slack off. Either from lack of focus, preparation or toughness...or all of the above.

Now they got themselves in a corner. Guess we'll see what happens. While I am deeply disappointed in MM, I expect he will have these Packers ready to go.
I'm disappointed because the players and coaches seems to be on edge as well. It seems like every call will go against them (will Shields ever buy a break?), our D has been hot and cold and mostly lukewarm, and our O has yet to put together the kind of dominant performance it could. Rodgers seems to be pressing, as is Woodson. The players are snapping at each other more than I've seen in a long, long time. In short, this team has not been below .500 and had to fight its way out for quite a while; we were living on Easy Street. At this point, we are not handling adversity very well at all.
