I agree with McGinn, somewhat. I don' t think they need to cut players mid year. You just don't see good teams do this on a regular basis. Yeah New England cut a guy for a muffed punt but he was an undrafted rookie brought in b/c of injuries to Amendola and Edelman.
However, I think MM and TT are open to criticism on a lack of accountability for players/coaches making the same mistakes repeatedly. Hyde, Adams, Hayward, R Rodgers, Lacy, and Palmer have all had extended periods of ineptness that should have resulted in benching. But it never happened and I think that atmosphere has been negative for the team, knowing that you can screw up plenty and not lose your spot.
