Thank you.

Well Said..
Eternal gratitude to all veterans and their families
Right, and that’s why more veterans are homeless now more then ever before in history.....and love how everyone thanks veterans for their service but won’t do or give to organizations for helping veterans.
Good post, Goldie. I don't know what the answer is, but I do hope we can find an answer to the homeless vet problem. Out here in CA there is a health crisis, too. Churches can only do so much. The Wounded Warriors Project helps with disabilities, but I'm not sure about the homeless veterans, however.
Too bad the government can't do something.
As a 100 percent disabled veteran my thoughts and thanks go with the man who died when it should have been me. Yet at the same time I am thankful for the efforts and memories of all the other men and women who have done the same for others and so should we all.
My family members have fought in wars since the American Revolution. And there have been a number of “reasons” given for each conflict and war. But the bottom line remains that we are a unique nation that promotes liberty. That includes free speech.
Memorial Day is about honoring the memory of those who died, nothing else.
Thank you to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who sacrificed to serve, so that I can speak freely, live freely, and love... the Packers.
We should all pause, in awe, of the sacrifice and nobility of those who died protecting what this country stands for.
Maybe even pause more than one day a year.
They earned it
Thank you.
I talked with a Chinese citizen this weekend in our travels and he said the one thing he stands in awe of is that we "get to choose (y)our own leaders" and called the US the "greatest nation in the world". He is studying in the US and wants to be a US citizen some day. That was a good reminder of just how fortunate we are.
Thanks to all who serve in the armed forces to make it happen.
