Steelers looked like the Keystone Kops trying to get the ball to the line to clock it.

Claypool literally pissed away about 5 seconds because he decides he wants to pose and one of the oline guys grabs it out of his hands to get it spiked and they bobble it all over the place.

That is some grade A dumbfuckery right there.  That's another play and Claypool pissed it away.  What an ass.

Two things:

No love for the thread title?

Nobody Googled “skoliosexuality” ?

You people (TM) act as if I don’t have anything better to do all day than create stupid posts in this forum….it’s not like I’m getting paid to create content here. 😉

Holy crap!
The game, of course, was a snooze-fest through most of 3 quarters. I had given up and gone to bed.
Then find out this morning the Steelers wound up making a game of it at the end!
Too bad they didn't score; that would have been an epic choke by the Vikes.

What Tomlin should say: "Claypool, have a seat on the bench for the next game until I call you -- if I call you."

What Tomlin will say: "Players didn't execute on the call for the spike."

What Kevin Colbert should say: "Who will trade Claypool for a warm case of Rolling Rock?"

Tomlin is lucky he works for the Steelers; any other club and he would have been gone a couple years ago.

I personally think Tomlin is at worst a pretty good coach if not a very good one, but it does feel like the Steelers have slipped in quality of play the past few years.

If they do move on from him, he’ll be snapped up quickly.  He’s got too good of a track record to be out of a job for long.

Literally yelled at my screen when I saw that.  Then he threw a hissy fit in the huddle after it too which probably delayed the play call a bit as well.

If you want to see how a pro does it, watch Davante a few weeks ago.  Catches ball, immediately gets down, as soon as he's touched he gets the ball to the ref and runs back the line for the next play.

Just off the top of my head, I can recall Jordy catching a bomb vs CHI where he had to play keepaway from the Bears. Larry Fitz, Emmitt, Steve Smith, and Davante have all showed incredible vet savvy in those situations. In a different time, Claypool would see some street justice from his teammates for his idiotic display.
