Terrible 1st quarter defense. Give up 37
Bucks 3 for 13 from three in the first (and Giannis was 1 for 2).
Dame continuing his terrible shooting since the all-star break. He's 3 for 16 since the break from the floor.
Down 14 in the second quarter
AJ Green continues his poor stretch on offense as well.
Bucks get it back to 7 and then completely shit the bed in the last 10 seconds. Give up a Wiggins and-one and then Wiggins misses the FT and they give up another and-one. That often happens when you have to play shitty players instead of Giannis (minutes restriction). They bring in Ryan Rollins for 5 seconds and he can't even box out.
Trail by 10 at the half.
Giannis has played 14 minutes and the Bucks are +8 in those minutes. In the 10 minutes he's been sitting, they are -18.
Adebayo hitting 2 of 2 from three. He shoots a worse percentage over his career than Giannis.
Bucks down 8 going to the 4th. AJ Green, Prince, and Porter Jr. have been terrible on offense. They are a combined 3 for 13 from the floor and 0 for 7 from three on mostly wide open shots.
Giannis has played 23 minutes and the Bucks are +12 in his minutes. In the 13 minutes he's sat, they are -20.
Bucks trying to claw back in it, down 95-93 early in the 4th.
Bucks go on a 10-0 run to start the 4th. Almost all Kevin Porter Jr.
Bucks now lead 97-95, keep it up
Bucks go up by 5, but then Herro goes for 5 and it's tied again.
Bucks 116-109 2 minutes left.
Gonna go to the wire.
Bucks WIN 120-113, Bucks crushed them in the 4th qtr
Great win. Kevin Porter Jr. was critical in this. As Tschmack said in another thread, he was almost a 20 point scorer in Houston earlier in his career and he is instant offense when he comes in. He's also a very good defensive player. It's the off-the-court stuff that has plaqued him, but he's a difference maker. I'm not sure why the Clippers would trade him. They already took the PR hit for signing him in the first place and then they trade him for Beauchamp? That makes no sense.
Jericho Sims also played well. He plays like Giannis on defense. He's really good. He does virtually nothing on offense.
AJ Green also played great defense.
It looks like the addition of Sims, Kuzma, and Porter Jr. have made AJax an afterthought. He was just never going to be a good enough player on offense to be playable in crunch time and since Sims can guard almost every position on the floor anyway and gives you rim protection, he'll get AJax's minutes.
