Stave is still just a shade shy on his passes, but so much better than last year where guys had to stop in their tracks all the time for his passes.  Oline is a major work in progress, and better defensive lines will eat them up.  Gonna need to dial up some screens to help those hogs out.

I know I hate McEvoy at QB, but I can't tell if I like him at WR or DB more.

I agree- the OL had trouble making a mark in that first Q... And we have seen what a dominant Badger OL does to teams like this. This was not a dominant performance.

Deal looks like a solid back, and Ogunbowale looked good in the open field. Unlike him out of he backfield in the passing game.

And it is time for someone to emerge in that WR corps. Wheelright has stepped forward- gotta do it every week, now. Like that Traylor has developed into a pretty reliable target, as well. The 'ol Chryst 2 TE system should work well when Fumugali comes back.

Good day overall though. Stave continues to show he can lead this offense.
Wheelwright was a 4 star prospect when he arrived in Madison and I thought he would be the next great Badgers WR out of the state of Ohio but it's simply jot materialized.  He's been hurt a lot and until this year I question his maturity (paging Reggie Love) but it looks like he may finally have turned the corner and that makes this Wisconsin passing game pretty strong.  Wheelwright is a big target that can stretch the field.

It also looks like their punting game has taken a step forward - and while you wouldn't think it's a big deal think back to last year where it hurt them.

The DL played significantly better today and was very impressed with how they got pressure on the QB and stuffed the run.  The completion was totally different today but our guys weren't getting blown off the ball.

The OL must get better - hope they figure it out soon
