Michael Irvin wants changes made to the Lombardi Trophy

Yeah, I saw that on PFT. I would of left a comment there but didn't want to register. It's actually a good idea in a way. They should have a Lombardi trophy and a Belicheat trophy. Then when they find out a team cheated the year they won the SB, they could exchange the trophy from Lombardi to Belicheat. That way when you look in the record books you could see that DEN, SF and NE didn't deserve a Lombardi trophy. If I missed any teams, sorry, these are the ones that I remember.

How come when Michael Irvin gets to rambling on about something he starts sounding like he has a British accent?

Stupid idea. I like that the trophy is named after the coach who won the first two Super Bowls and was arguably the greatest coach of all time. You see Lombardi quotes all the time; you don't see Belichik quotes anywhere. Lombardi was a coach that became part of football lore; I don't see Belichik ever rising to that level.

I guess dumb ass Irvin doesn't remember Chuck Noll. I can't believe Irvin has a job doing what he is doing. The NFL is trying to clean up it's image, yet they let this crackhead on their show.

Irvin's just trying to kill more legacy and history in the name of the "modern" game, and he figures this would stir things up. Troll.

Next, Irvin will want to add Gronkowski's (spell?) to the John Mackey Award.

I'd like to present the Pablo Escobar trophy to Michael Irvin, in recognition of all the great contributions he has made to his nose over the years.
