Ha ha, Michigan 13 - The Ohio State 10. 45 seconds left. Only one talking head out of 7 called it for Michigan…….the Heisman Winner, and EX Packer, Charles Woodson. Not over yet…….35 seconds to go. 3rd and 9 for Ohio.

They likely are not in the championship game. If Indiana or PSU win they are out.
It would have to be a playoff game, I don’t see any way Penn St or Indiana both lose.

The problem with Indiana or Penn State making it into the conference championship game is if that team loses they will have 2 losses as will Ohio State. Ohio State has beaten both of them head to head so it’s possible the Hoosiers or Nitt Lions could miss out of the playoffs with another loss. Especially Indiana.
Any chance Ryan Day is canned and Ohio State pursues and hires Luke Fickell? lol!

Read the "brawl" started when a Michigan player tried to plant their flag on the Ohio state logo. Then an Ohio guy ripped it down. Mayhem ensued as both teams started fighting on the field. Authorities had a hard time trying to break it up and apparently police or security had to use Pepper Spray to settle things down.

I unfortunately live a little less than an hour from O$U and many of the spoiled ass fans here want Day gone even if he wins 90% of their games. But that being said I would say close to 100% want Chip Kelly gone after the game he called today. I have to wonder if it was really Kelly or if Longo from UW snuck in to the booth and was calling the offense it was terrible.
Anyhow, I have to watch the majority of the OSU games and teams who are willing to play big boy football with them will get them a hard time because they are a fast team but not a physical one.

OSU also paid something like 20 million in NIL money this season. The story that I heard is that Day went to the school and to big time boosters to ask for money so they could go all in.
As much as that loss hurt them yesterday, I still am not sure there is anyone besides Texas and Oregon that we could say would flat out beat OSU in the playoffs.
The part that stinks is that my wife (who is a huge Buckeye fan) and I have renewable tickets for the Big Ten title game and are trying to sell them.

yes the game means more to the us alumni and a lot of the older players. Rumor has it that just about everything is different and not in a good way within the program under Day. Anything short of a National Championship and he will be gone.
The reason Alabama and Georgia have been the two best teams in college football the last 10 years is their OL and DL have been dominant.
Texas has probably taken the top spot as they don’t have any weaknesses and their line play is as good as any team in college football.
Year in and year out the Buckeyes probably have some of the best skill position players in the sport. LSU is probably right there as well.
But what killed Ohio State yesterday was their OL was flat out terrible. Michigan’s strength is their DL. Why the Buckeyes tried to keep RTFB is beyond me.
That all being said, I still think Ohio State is easily one of the 5 best teams today. Maybe top 3. I think Texas and maybe Oregon are slightly better. So if you are the OSU fan base and want to can the guy that will put you in contention every year then go right ahead. He won’t be out of a job for long.
The dummy OSU fans sound a lot like the ingrates at Kentucky when John Calipari was there. You don’t have a God given right to a championship every year just because you are a legacy program.
Oh I totally agree the difference is the line play. Used to have a great mix of NFL talent on the lines and in skill positions. Now it really is a focus on the skill side.
And there is no doubt Day would be the number one call any smart AD would make but again if he can’t win a a championship with a 20 mil roster I’m not going to shed too many tears when he is canned. Speaking of that I know Vrable is high on most folks list but he’s on record of wanting nothing to do with NIL.
Thank goodness I’m smart enough to also be a Packer fan. 😂
