Any news on reinstatement for Neal? I'd be anxious to see if he can take some playing time from cj Wilson (who actually had a good game). I more strong DL could really elevate d.

Also, what a brilliant fumble caused by DMoses!!! Could he also push for time?

If House can also come strong, look out for the d perhaps. I could see house at corner and shields as nickel.

Thoughts?

I'm starting to wonder just how "one armed" he'll be once he finally gets back on the field. With how long he's sat out, I'm thinking he's going to be healed up pretty well once he returns (they may have learned something from Tramon's issues last year). I'm not down on Shields yet, he just needs to realize he screwed up, and get a lot of film study with Capers and the DB coaches while prepping for the next game.
Neal ia for me a stunning pleasant surprise. Not only is he chalking up serious playing time, he is doing so effectively.

Given his time out for injuries, I am shocked.

Shields back. Woodson coming back. CMIII has returned. Emergence of Heyward. House. On offense, I am sure Jordy will return...

To me, the only concerns are o-line and Crosby in a tight game.

So much like two years ago. So many injuries, but the team got enough returning and gelled at the right time.

He's a great rotation guy who provides pass rush when there are NFL caliber 3-4 OLBs in the game. He kind of disappeared when Matthews was out, but he played well on Sunday with Matthews back in. He's clearly not at the level of Cullen Jenkins yet, but maybe he will be in a year or two.

Walden's probably just a little better at the run just from experience.
I love Moses but I've seen him get eaten up in the run game.
When Perry and Bishop get back to provide instant upgrades of the pass rush and run defense from their respective positions, the Packers still need to draft another quality OLB that can get after the QB next year so either Moses or Walden can be cut (along with Zombo), and the other one can be at the bottom of the depth chart. That, combined with another run stuffer DL will instantly place this defense in the top five. The secondary is loaded with talent, and the front seven is only 2 rotational guys away from being filled out (assuming Perry and Bishop can come back at 100%).
Moses stays. He's quicker, a better rusher, and has a better motor than Walden. Walden is stouter against the run, but he's probably hit his ceiling. Moses is still on the upswing.

Neal just needs to stay healthy and see more snaps to be another Jenkins. If he can do that, I like what he brings inside. He seems to kick Raji in the butt and get him playing better, too.

Neal was also injured the previous several weeks. The stunts he and CM were tandeming on Sunday sound really interesting.

People keep bagging on Walden but he was doing really well when he was part of the Perry - Matthews - Walden rotation. IOW, he was much more effective when his snaps were limited. He's been wearing down since Perry and then Matthews have been out but earlier in the year, he was doing a damn fine job. You do not cut him when Perry gets healthy.

Money.. He is going to be asking for more than Vet minimum.. He will be a backup next season if he is on the team.. TT will pick up a cheaper option in the mid to late rounds or UFA and develop.
